Low ping and high fps --> Lag

Hello
I am having some troubles while playing crossfire. The reason is when i am close to a enemie my ping pass from 30 to 1000 or 700 and i am get killed because of that, and then sometimes i get disconnected from the server because of high ping like 4000 or 5000 . What can i do ?

Restart your modem. Unplug it. Wait 10 seconds plug it back in. Restart your pc and play. Should fix it.

I tried and nothing . It is the same :x but now the lag is much better like 400 ping lol

Had the same problem the other day. just stopped playing.
then went back on it after 2 hours, and it was working perfectly fine. 20 ping

But it is happenning day after day. And i just play 1 hour per day

I used to have the same problem (unstable ping) and that ^^ fixed it.

reinstall cf?
my bros pc is sometimes like this but i think its cos its old :S
