How to REVIVE CF Forums

You still have yet to win a league/LAN and post pictures as proof.
In fact, the only picture that you've posted in a while is your picture, which unfortunately is the same one every other week, and a screen shot of way back when, when you beat LPK.
You're not a legend, you're a fraud who just happens to be good at a shooting game. Gratz.
i said don't talk to me until you become a legend. -

i wonder what it must be like for them in real life.
^He has a point.
I pity those who are afraid to stand up for what they think because of "trolls." -
Obviously, there are those who will always think they are untouchable.
Think of it like this, guys(those who wants to troll).
Crossfire is like a small market organization(CF NA, I mean) that is competing against tons of other First Person Shooters. IE, we won't exactly blow your mind away, but we're pretty darn good.
A analogy would go something like this, (not to offend any of you yankees fan, but this is just to show the difference)
Z8's Crossfire is like the Tampa Bay Rays in the majors, always constantly battling against the Yankees and Red Sox. Those are the big guns, and but we always find a way to fight way.
Meaning we(the CF Community) are just as good as those other big name FPS. But....But...without a strong community in the Forums, we can't be like that.
You see, from what I observe is, the forum controls how the game is going to be in a few years. The more positive things are perceived on the forums, the more positive things people have to say about the game. If people are always constantly bashing on the MODs, or GMs, about how this patch or that patch didnt do what they wanted, then, there will always be negative outcomes of each thread, posts, and etc. The more good, the more people. The more bashing on GMs and whatnot, the more people feel like the GMs and MODs aren't doing enough, even though they don't know. It's like a rumor that gets spread around like a disease. The CF Community is the public, and what ever happens in the public, should stay there. Don't take things so personal, that you need to start bashing on GMs, MODs, or better yet, other forumers.
I've played this game for about a year now, and I know just enough to come up with this.
Notice how little respect GM Saidin gets. You can almost sense that after each and every patch, someone posts a thread, "OMFG, THIS PATCH SUCKS", or something to that extent. It takes time to change things people, it just doesnt happen overnight.
Hopefully, this thread brings out all the good in forumers. And we pass it on. -
If even a thread like this ends being a flame war about things that have nothing to do with the original subject, how can a suggestion thread be respectable?
Think about your behavior on this forum, because if I make another 50 lined rant I will just waste my time. -
The only troll we ever got fully away was Coruption, though he was no where near as bad as some of the people I wish would just stop.
I really want to know what the point of trolling is.
Also, the fact that people complain about everything, and think they know what is going on is what really grinds my gears. They have no clue what happens between the DEVs and G4Box, they just assume everything and try to use that to start a whole pointless thread. -

Actually, I just mute you if I see you on vent the second I log on to save me some headache.
Back on topic:
Karma system rendition necessary, or not? -

trolling makes people mad, making people mad is fun.. -

Apparently, making people mad online is a hobby. Get a life people. Let the people who want to play, play, let those who wants to discuss, discuss.
But the most important thing is, that I think no one really does is, it is way easier to just ignore trolling than to say something back. If a thread is about new guns, let it just be about new guns, and not, "OMG that WILL NEVER HAPPEN". -
That's why we have World of Warcraft. Troll there, they take the game so seriously.
and people don't take this game seriously?
when's the last time you've been in an echo 8 pub
pimp was right, people try harder there then they do in matches. -

I quit Echo 8 pubs. People get sensitive on there, and it's too sensitive. It's the kind where they start raging and take the fight after the game while whispering you.
Bravo 7 pubs are where the real action's at

The Forumer Group -
fU is the Forumers United, it's for the forumers,
The CF Forumers Clan, is the clan I made using my old clan to give all the forumers a home together. Since I try to be a more "Community" type of MOD, I felt that it would be good for people if I as a MOD ran it. With some certain forumers as LTs. It's been an idea for a MOD to run one since way back in Suba.
So far in the clan we've had a great time, especially in scrims. If you're the only one on, all you got to do is wait a few minutes, or post on the forums, and you get like 2-5 people on pretty quickly.
The Karma System-
While a Karma system would be nice, G4Box is still in the process of editing it, and using other systems to act as a way of "karma". If we simply activated the default one, it would be abused way to easily.
We do have many future plans, near future for some, so with a bit of patience, things will turn out really nicely
Some things are kept in the shadows until it's sure that it will almost function correctly, with hopefully little to no problems. It goes to many tests, and when it's done, it's put in and announced.
All I have to say is be patient, and some things, within the near future, will happen and bring some more fun to the forums.

I got a bit of suprised when I just started erading this topic.
The idea I got was that finally, someone out of the moderation just standed up and just have tryed to help the mods. Because, well, it's needed that help.
But I just agree really hard with all the intenligent post in this topic. As you can see some of them suck. I did liked this idea of the "forum karma" sistem. I would love it. Even If as you can see the so dam low number of post of mine, I've read a lot here.
And I saw many and many stoopid (yhea 2x O) posts here, but the bad thing is that the bad post are many many more than the intelligent ones.
Just some words I wanted o say. -

*Max continues to wait patiently because his hopes have been rekindled*
