High FPS = Bad ?
Hey!
Anyone know where we can find a software that could lock our FPS to 100 or something while playing CF?
Im doing 5v5 all day long with my team and im getting over 380fps, which make my game slower by time to time (I feel like Im on the moon, everything is slow, running/walking/switching wep etc..)
While doing 8v8, its ok because im stuck a 160fps which is good to play but getting pass the 300FPS.. its a pain in the ***.
Can someone help me with this please?
Thanks

Start some processes, turn everything on high, set ur graphic settings on quality, not Performance!
or:
When you start CrossFire go to task Manager > Process > Crossfire.exe > right click > Affiliation set > Turn of 1 CPU, that helped me in another game. -

Thansk man but I've already done that, that was the only thing that come to my mind to lower my FPS.
Vsync / High Quality / CPU1.. did all that and I keep getting over 380 when doing 5vs5.
With my old computer I had like 90-120fps in a 5v5 match, which was perfect but since I got a new computer.. bleh, that's unplayable.
That make no sense eh? -
high fps is not bad ...
if you play with mine ( 13 in a 1v1 with gamebooster and lowest graphics ), you'll realize you'd rather have high than low.
I know what you mean but trust me, IT IS BAD when you get over 350FPS in this game. Just switching from one gun to another take like 5-6sec and I guess you know that in a FPS game, 5-6sec can be crucial when it comes to clan matches.
That is just one thing, sometime when I jump, im like floating in the air for 2-3sec and then come back to ground normally.
Everyone is like -omg axo lagger! kick him!-
My ping is average 9 (im from Canada) and my FPS.. over 350FPS, which make me a lagger? Lol, sad story. -

read above in the thread.
It's actually bad, playing with 350 fps. I had this kind of Problem in San Andreas i had 1000 fps suddently, and everything was moving fast.
AA/AF in ur graphic on high, and vsync high would help.
Installed a Direct X?
check ur fps with 3Dmark
