Echo-8
A couple of months ago Echo-8 was a cool place to just play casually with english speaking,pretty decent players from respected competitive teams. I amn't a regular,I only turn up in e-8 after getting annoyed with PT's and turks in UK servers and looking to chat with a few english speaking blokes but annoyingly,jsx (phong- , guy from ROC) and I were discussing in echo-8 about how often we get kicked for ''lagging'' although I only had 122 ping at the time and jsx had 142. People (all low pingers) were complaining that we tank although we get rubbish reg and all this sort of crap. Its just dissapointing to see this.
Secondly,whats going on with the people in echo? I'm seeing a bunch of well, pubstars with spops and crap around the place. My team and I were looking for a 5 earlier,were playing World Wide who came armed with spops,krisses and armor vs all of us over 200 ping (saranghae and i had over 400), then started trash talking us even though we destroyed them. Whats going on with this community - annoying,spoilt kids are ruining the area that was set up as a refugee camp from these sort of people. I know most people are cool in echo-8 , but just don't let this crap get out of hand.

More and More BRs are finding us in E8 - and new NA players that don't know you're not suppose to use STAR/M12s - While having a bunch of competitive players playing with one another, the Ego's and trash talking gets higher as a lot of players want to think of themselves as the best players, sadly - Because of <===, people tend to try-hard in pubs seeking fame and attention.
Nonetheless, it's still a fun place to hang out with friends, and 5v5 just to hang-out with your clan, and maybe go over strats. -
i've noticed people talk in chat way too much in echo 8. it's not like it's a special channel anymore anyway considering all these random players come in. also the kids who just started playing this game and compete get all emotional when you kill them it's quite hilarious. alpha 7 isn't the same either so ya...
i don't mind any guns tbh so if someone is using a kriss/m12/scar light in echo 8 it doesn't bother me. echo 8 doesn't mean wogl rules why do people keep thinking that. -

first time i went to echo 8 the other day, i didnt know about the no spop rule, first room i join, bunch of kids say "who tries in pubs" then they kick me for spoping, and "baiting"
like wtf? what hypocrisy, not to mention their team had 2 spops anyway

that's cause you're playing against the wrong players lol. if you don't try hard you're never going to get better. but some people take walking in pubs as trying hard. those kids are more or less terrible anyway just don't listen to them. what i honestly hate is when people stay in spawn half the round or more waiting for the easy kill to pop up when 40 seconds are left on the timer. annoying as fk and there are many of them in echo 8. thankfully most of them aren't very good at aiming -

well im just saying, one minute their all high and mighty saying..."pfft who tries in a pub", then u kill them and they all go "f11 kick spop noob, baits too" -
I don't kick m12/scar lght users because they're not aloud in wogl; I kick them because the guns are overpowered. Spops/stars I don't really mind much.
i view echo 8(pubs)as more as a 'fun' channel more than a 'competetive' one, in that everyone is on a fair playing field, equipment/ping wise, and everyone knows what is expected of them. This is why people complain about 'try hards', because it is not fun watching your last player walking across the whole map, running down the timer to the last second just to get that last kill in a match where it really doesn't matter. -

not trying would be: using a gun you normaly don't use, rushing alone, simply not aiming or things that are worst then that, anything slightly better is trying. 90% of peoples who say their not trying are indeed trying.
its not a scrim/pug so its not like were gonna go around making strats and who goes where. but that dosn't mean your not trying. -

"Why would I try in a pub" is probably the dumbest excuse ever. I always try whether I'm in a scrim or a pub. I dislike going negative or bottom fragging. Sure being ace in a pub is no big feat, but who wants to spend all their time spectating others -
