XM8/XM8-Adv

I've been thinking about this for a while. Which ones better, in you're opinion?

From the times my friends have let me use the XM8-Adv (Or the times I've stolen it >:D), I like it more. But I am not quite sure whether I should spend GP on the crates.

I currently own the XM8. I can do well with it, whether I`m being a jerk and purposely shooting through boxes, ("Suckas! I can do more damage then ya! :P" - My thoughts), or just using it normally.

Then theres another problem. If I do win the XM8-Adv, should I sell the normal XM8, or hold onto it.

I realize that no one can tell me a complete answer, due to personal preference, but... It would help me to hear some others opinions and reasons.

XM8-adv has got alotta sprays 'n stuff like that in the crates so the chance you win goes down.. Just a tip, 4 the rest i dunno:D

I would invest in the crates. I was gonna buy an XM8 and instead bought the XM8 Adv crates and luckily for me i got it. The extra bullets help ALOT, as always, and so does the wallbang capabilities. Although I've heard that the 100% wallbang has been nerfed to 80% from the latest patch but haven't noticed a difference IMO. The only downside is the 3 shot burst during scope on the Advance but if you aim for the feet the 3rd shot usually ends at the head.

BM is always a gamble so good luck to you if you do spend the gp for the crates.

Thanks, I`ve heard that XM8-Adv has 100% wallbang, it was the regular XM8 that got nerfed to 80% but I`m not sure.

And I have heard its possible to control the spray, just like regular recoil, where you can make all three bullets hit, say, the chest.

Np, and i heard you can control it as well but I've yet to attempt it LOL. I'm not that big on scoping unless its an awm/m4-c/aug >.<

The XM8-Avd scope is messed up, shoots three shots but the bullets go in 3 totally different positions.

Certainly no point spending GP trying to win it if you already owe the normal one, which seems to be a lot better except for ammo.

You MUST NOT ever in your life re-sell weapons, they give you like 1/3 of the normal price which is not worth the weapon itself.

to tell you the truth xm8 and xm8 adv. are the same.same power,accuracy,recoil. only the amution is the difference.but the standard xm8 has better style from the xm8 adv. xm8 adv is like you buy it from a toy shop :P.but it is your decision.if you think that 5 more bullets will you help you try it but it will need a lot of crates for someone unerperienced to the crates and you will lose a lot of gp and you will not probably win it.it is not like some months before which had a trick and some zp depositors ("freaks") win it,in my opinion if you do well with standard xm8 don't buy it.

I like the regular XM8 more. It doesn't have a 3-shot burst while scoping and has a better skin.
