M4 and AK are very different spray patterns.
With the M4, you can spray the chest and hit the head, but, as you know, the AK is the legs.
Both are lethal if you can one click, but I strongly recommend learning how to headshot "burst" which is 3 shots to the head. This ensures that the person is dead, if you hit the neck for some unforeseen reason, and can sometimes get you collaterals if there is another player directly behind him. -

He's the best AK user in CF, although I agree that you need good chemistry, when it comes to 1v5, a hs gun really comes in handy. -
I love my ak but it fails me long range T_T Is there a way to ak long range?
Single shot. Or if you cant see that well, get the ak scope. another tip is to crouch or walk. I suggest Straffing with the walk function, it makes the crosshair really small. -
Just keep practising with it.
M4-Custom is a lot better than AK at various points. Long range M4 is better as it has the scope which is perfect for long shots and its silenced which can help hide your position.
There is no such thing as weapons that suck, there are only players than can't use specific weapons. The guy hating M4-c clearly has no idea on how to use it.
But then again if you are really good with AK, you might as well stick with it. But I really do recommend you try and master M4-Custom

Burst fire with the M4-Custom. Aim at their chest and burst should be a headshot or a 88 damage. Btw, The Scope of M4-Custom doesn't suck. It's because you can't use it. You just won't take your time to learn how to use it. M4s don't have much recoil on the first 5 shots in my opinion making it deadly.
