Lagging on Window 7

My Problem...

I installed windows 7 on my computer ...and the game began to lagg ... ( i made my pc completly new)

Befor i had windows 7 on my pc i had xp and it worked very well

PC :
CPU : Amd Phenom 3,xx gh
Ram: 4 gb
Grafik: hd radon 512mb (4*** series)

My drivers are all on the newest level and i wonder why i lag ... maby someone have/had the same problem and can help me to fix it

When you've opened CrossFire, and you're in the lobby, pless Ctrl+Alt+Delete, and open 'Task Manager'. Go to your current processes, and change CrossFire to 'low priority'.

Then restart the game, and everything'll be fine.

They probably mean FPS lag, most of the people here are usless when it comes to computer terminology.

Reading through the OP, you may be right.

Though spiking's a known problem on Windows 7. Or at least it was, not sure if they've patched any compatibility issues, since it was a while back.

Im running it fine on win 7. And thats with a crappy wireless adaptor connecting to my router through 2 stone walls.

in fact my problem is the ping normaly i have a ping of 60/63 but when i play it changes all the time and goes up to 650 and higher ....

my brother next to me plays on xp the same game at the same time and don`t have any problems ...thats wierd and i dont know what to do ...a friend of mine had the same problem and he only sait it will go in a few weeks ... but i don`t want to wait ...

try this...
open crossfire
open the windows task manager
in crossfire.exe press "right click"
choose "establish affinity"
finaly turn off 1 of the 3 processors
continue the game
good luck

i dont know but nothing is working ... what u said with task manager doesn`t work
i updatet windows ...now i have all upDATEs and still dont work good. .. my borther next to me play with a ping of 52 and i have 60 and goes up to 600 700 ... we have the same switch and all are the same just he has win xp and i have win 7

maybe some good guy can help me ... i hate laggs and i think u too... please ... i am begging you help me

never seen that before but anyway, i would try resetting the modem + router and see what happen. it seems like a tcp/ip issue badly redirected in Win7.

Give it a try and let us know.

I had same problem as OP and when i did the affinity disable one proc trick it didn't work. When I set it so only 2 cores recognized it, it did!!!!
