Never noticed that we could see the channels people are in too. Only works in the American servers though...
But yeah, when did that happen? :O
Its actually quite helpful.(I can see where my NA friends go) And I think it was after the thxgiving patch. (most recently) -

Yeah, most likely it was. Because I've never seen that earlier. ;P
And you could always stalk them with the "join friend" thingy too. -
When he is on the same server as you in the UK you will see his channel and room
But if he is in the different server you can't see you only see the numbers 2456
You can right click your friend and click and play together and you will see his server channel and room
And this was updated I think in the September patch

Not at all. Because I was in UK2 and I could see DDoTt's server and ch which was in charlie. I could also see someone in echo-8 and someone in UK server 1.
There was 2 people who had 24627 and they were both in Bravo.
I restarted the game and now it says the channels of the ones in the UK servers and it says 24627 on the ones in Bravo and I can see someone in Charlie but can't see the channel. So it seems that the feature is halfway bugged.
Is that what the GMs are going to add next week? Or, fix? The Server+channel pop-ups. -
Just to correct you, its Canadian servers, not the American ones. Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta are all based around Toronto if I remember correctly. I am not sure if the West Coast is still on Canadian soil or not. But the others are obviously where their locations are.
But on topic, the feature sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't. seems to work when players are actually in such a lobby and not in game for the most part.
