using a PS3 controller on Crossfire (it can be done)

so i have a Sixaxis dualshock 3 controller, i got it to work using sixaxis driver and Joystick Mouse 2, but it doesn't work while using crossfire
i run both programs as elevated administrator...
so my PS3 controller works on win 7, works with every other game, why is crossfire so different? whats the need?
when someone knows the answer id be glad to know

yh...everything works...but crossfire won't work

I believe there is no ingame support for joysticks yet. I tried doing it once and broke one of my cheap ones somehow, don't ask. I am waiting for this baby to come out right now

you don't need it to work ingame, i have it set up that my ps3 controller is recognized as a mouse. my "controller" is a mouse
