Game Updates

As we round the corner on 2 years of game life, Cross Fire would like to thank all its fans and players for making us one of the top free to play games out there! We would like to wish all our American Friends a Happy Thanksgiving!

The game has been updated with a few extra items for the Thanksgiving season. Be thankful you get to own your friends with the new Famas-Camo, which has one of the best camo paint jobs in the game (in this editors opinion). Or live out your turkey fantasy by dressing up with the turkey helmet and backpack and try to run in circles while mutants bear down on you in the lastest map update. Enjoy the patch and get ready for lots of stuff coming throughout the holiday season!

We would also like to hint at a few things that are coming up. First off, we will be introducing something new for the Clan Page next week. We're all excited about the possibilities for this new feature and hope that you all will enjoy it as well! We also have lots of things planned for the game and site for the Holiday Season. More on that in future news posts!


Competitive Updates

Since the last time UW was out, there have been some news on the Anti-Cheat front for both ESL and WOGL. Both have released updates and new Anti-Cheats for their respective leagues and tournaments.

Be sure to check them out and drop feedback for them on their respective sites!

WOGL with some sponsorship from Cross Fire will also be hosting some Christmas Tournaments. Check back soon for news on these events! The prizes will be awesome to say the least!

And in case you haven't seen enough Pictures from WEM, doop has kindly posted some pictures as well on our forums. In case you're new here, the World E-Sport Masters was a major Cross Fire competition held in China a few weeks ago. There were prizes in excess of $25,000 to be won. Cross Fire NA/UK was represented by the best two teams currently playing our game LPK and LifeLine. Be sure to check out these pictures and say hello!

Off Site leagues and tournaments aren't the only things going on. All you need to do is check in with the Community Forums Tournament section and look at all the people starting things, running tournaments and generally having some competitive fun in Cross Fire.

The OVOL is looking for staff. These guys would be a great start for anyone who is looking to be more involved with CF. FPSL is attempting to get some backing for their tournaments and leagues too. And don't forget to follow along with the Secular Gaming [SG] 1v1 Tournament. They are giving away a ton of prizes and will be growing with each new event so check them out!


Community Happenings

Our thriving forum community hasn't slowed down just because they are watching football or eating Turkey. Heck, some aren't even celebrating Thanksgiving! But for those who aren't, they can be thankful there is a vibrant group of people here to enjoy some conversation with and have some fun.

There is yet another Public Vent server for people to gather on. Give your shoutouts here!

Thanksgiving or otherwise, some people just play Cross Fire a lot! Are you one of them? Augcamo123 shows off his luck and love for the Black Market! Doop is trying to get Cross Fire recognized! vote there and maybe we'll see CF enter into even more Competitive Events!

Deklion wants to know when the M4A1-Custom Crystal is going to be more widely available. I've heard a few rumors about a permanent version coming soon!

While we're on weapons, Loliroger has always suggested some great weapon ideas. If you haven't had a chance to read her posts definitely check them out! Patches always spark discussion on the new weapons. What are your thoughts on the Famas-Camo? And another discussion was started on which Cross Hair is the best. Add your opinion here.

The Community wouldn't be here without awesome Fan Made Content. This week brings us news of a movie making community all of its own! And check out The Rock, a great production by idennek!

And Fanworks aren't always videos or art. They can be guides too. The Badge Reward Guide is nearly complete! And now in a rainbow of colours! Which badge do you like the most? What was/is the hardest one to achieve?
