Whoever makes these announcements; do you use a spellchecker?

LOL, I remember that, some guy told me what it stands for, but if I say it on these forums, I will get in trouble.H3adMunzta wrote: »Lol I don't think they double read their posts. But it isn't that trivial.

I think foreigners are generally in charge of some announcements and the translation in-game, considering the numerous syntax errors. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't affect my gameplay or experience; being a Grammar Nazi just makes me more sensitive to these types of errors.

Thanks for the heads up.
When we do announcements we have to type them up a million times (for sites, social networks, forums etc.) and sometimes copy-pasting from documents doesn't work. Especially when things get worded in different ways for different media.
In this particular case, we've made 3 or 4 major announcements for events and sales within the last 24-48 hours. A spelling mistake can slip through quickly in times like that.
There are also some random technical limits we deal with. For example, the launcher doesn't recognize the character " ' ". So we can't probably type can't, don't, doesn't etc.
The In-Game announcements have a character limit. If we made the announcement too long it would run off the screen. So often times we have to try and say something big in the smallest amount of words.
It's a simple correction to make for the website stuff, if you catch an error like that so just send a note to a mod or a gm and we'll have it fixed. -
You dont have to write a hole book about it :-)[GM]Saidin wrote: »Thanks for the heads up.

Lol, didn't mean for you to write a whole paragraph on the situation. A typo is a typo. Anyways, I was kidding about the whole thing
