I played a lot of quake 2 and starsiege tribes at lan parties but never online, truly awesome well made games.

First game I played online was Quake 3, either Railgun only 1on1 or rapid fire no self damage FFA. The graple hook + rail gun on "The longest Yard" was amazing.

I stopped playing online for a long while after Q3, then at a friends lan party I was introduced to CF. I hated it's guts and only wanted to play CS or Q3... Yeah, he still laughs at me for playing this game I said sucked so bad.

Medal of Honor Allied Assault: Spearhead and Breakthrough were my first games--two great games for their time. Soldier Front was crap and made me switch over to CF.
