I used to be able to point to the ban list and say "there is the proof!", but we don't have that option anymore.

hack.ing reports are automaticly "closed" with no report on what action was taken if ANY. i think that needs to be improved since if some poor n00b thinks someone is hack.ing and they are 100% legit, they need to know so the next time they dont waste time with legit players and QQ about it and then get frustrated when they get pwn3d again by that player a few days later!

what is needed is a "Trust, but verify" system for bans.

I love Crossfire, don't get me wrong, but my faith in z8 has gone downhill since the public ban list was removed. I have talked about this many times, and this isn't the 1st time I have herd of "If you buy ZP you don't get banned!" rummors/lies/trolls/etc

I stoped playing for a while because I had to go away for work and also i was getting kicked from games because people knew me too well from TDMs. I came back I didn't have a problem for a long time but, now it's coming back. im getting kicked joining rooms in progress soon as I get one or two kills! And no, a name change is not the ansure i'm not going to hide because people think i hack when i used to be a Counter-Strike player and was very good at it! the only time hack.s are not an issue is right after patch(s) for a few hours at least.

I do security for a living for god sakes and even i know that one of the best ways of minimizing risks are deturnents! the public ban list was one such tool. I have gotten some of my friends to play this game and they quit because of hack.ers and they said that if z8 did more to get rid of hack.ers they would play! 8 out of the 10 said that when the ban list was taken down that was y they quit! they had no need to ban hack.ers to show they were trying. that is what they told me in general. 4 of the 10 are really close friends that i have know for over 6 years!

if there were more deturnents this thread might not even be here!
