I'm stuck.

My current project is making me mad. I can't make a lightning Effect!! How Do I do it?

I do this.
Step 1. I Get my text.
Step 2. I color it.
Step 3. I Make a Lightning Effect.
Step 4. I Put the Dementions to 1.200 and that other thing to 10.000.
Step 5. I put the Color B to 0% transparent
Step 6. I edit the lightning to the position I want it in.
Step 7. ???
