just got AE, and i need help, with pretty much everything. is it different from vegas?

Good Luck. Start by trying to edit Free Templates.

Completely different, to start off watch some basic tutorials on YouTube.

just watched a tutorial on how to make a 3d intro and it looks hard. i'll give it a try tomorrow. and is there a difference between cs3 and cs4?

If you look on your other thread where you posted your first Vegas intro, I linked you to a very good youtube account that posts TONS of tutorials for vegas. I give his link to everyone who starts editing.

Also I tell you where to go if you need to find AAE tutorials.
