I See. will 5750 still work really good? Like how much fps do you think i will get get with that processor and that graphics card, with a really good internet connection, which i haveHerpDerped wrote: »it's just way better
. on my current pc i get 30-70fps in an 8v8, and on ym current pc i got intel pentium 4, 3.00Ghz, 1gb ram. -
I upgraded froma 5750 to a 5770 and i have to say, when it comes to crossfire, there is not much difference, but for other things, thats where you start to feel the change....
Although, im still thinking of upgrading to the new 6800 series.
For crossfire, its more than enough. I used to play on a laptop, I had to upgrade though, once mutation mode came out. -

Let me tell you something, you computer will run about any games on the market right now.
Crossfire will also be running smoothly.. but the problem is, when you have a good computer like that, that game run slower. (I have an i5 760 2.8ghz / 4GB DDR3 1333mhz / EVGA NVIDIA GTX 460 FTW 1GB) and im having issue with 1 game... CROSSFIRE.
You probably ask why? because with HIGH specs, this game runs slowly (FPS meaning)
I play with around 200fps at 8vs8, 5vs5 340fps, 1vs1 over 600fps (which is UNPLAYABLE)
340FPS is also unplayable!
You will notice in-game that when you switch weapons/jump/run, youll feel like you are walking on the moon, everything gets slower, just because you have TOO MUCH FPS for this game.
This issue was also on Counter-Strike (when you did developer_1 in console and fps_max 999) but hey, we could just set up fps_max 100 or 200 and everything was fine.
You dont have that option in CF.
Ive been looking around to find out a software to lock my FPS to play this game.. pain in the ***. Cant find anything.
USING VSYNC WILL NOT CHANGE ANYTHING!
So.. just my 2 cents.
Hope it help. And if u find a software to lock FPS, let me know!!! -

Darn, a computer that's actually faster than mine o.O -

ok so basically what u have is about 80-120 fps depending on how many ram u have left when your pc is on
I dont think people know this yet but graphic's card has nothing to do with this game i get about 80-120 fps with an nvidia gtx umm i 4got the specs and an intel quad core processor
i asked my uncle to make it custom built and i only get 80-120 fps in other games like l4d2 and bc2 i get about 200+ -
coudl u guys post ur pc specs telling what ur fps on average is plz?
Phenom 2 X4 940 Quad Core 3Ghz $100
Radeon 4870 $100
2x2GB Ram. $100
2x 1TB HD's $150
+$50 for a case & PS and $10 for a CPU fan.
$510 total. + $300 for a new screen.
And this was all a year ago. You should be able to find better deals by now.
500GB for an HD is way too small, think about the future. I've had my TB's filled for a long time, I commonly have to cycle out 20GB here and there just to play a new game. 500 won't go very far, if you use your computer as a repository and put it to real use you'll fill 200GB of ****, 200GB of real movies and 100GB of games in a week. Also no one cares about your onboard audio. At $700 hopefully they're at least giving you a blu-ray burner in your rig.
80FPS generally, with stuff going on. It spikes all over the place from 80-200 though.it sounds good, but look for a nvidia card, it works better...with everything
Radeons have been kicking their ass for awhile now until the last big push they did. But that last big push put them at 2x the price. -
