Actually, the higher your DPI, the more accurate your mouse is. My mouse is a piece o' crap, quite low DPI, and when I want to make a very slight movement, it moves over about 1 pixel-width on my screen. A 4000 DPI mouse would move about 4 times within 1 pixel-width of my screen. -

Not necessarily. It's only the amout of 'dots per inch' the mouse moves at.
People see a large amount of DPI, and presume it makes for a better mouse.

Yes, and I'd say Razer or Logitech; Razer because of how many ppl seem to say it's good and Logitech because I had an old one a friend gave me that was better than a stock mouse and have another now.
The more you game, [and the more srs] the more it'll be worth it. Also, make sure you've gone into your main mouse settings on your PC and disabled dat acceleration already:
