He clearly stated you would, not you do. He's just saying that if you were to follow the logic of your previous statement, you would hate him as he is either German or Jewish.
Also, you might wanna learn a thing or two from him; if you're building an argument, there's no need to resort to insults as it only works against your cause. -

Well, it's not about not asking questions.yes, different opinions. you can´t deny though that alot of religions rather have their followers not asking too many questions.
Religions were traditionally formed to provide answers to the greater questions that did not have logical responses.
Because humans are curious beings, they created these theories; like anything else, under appropriate circumstances they grew and spread (Not all 'religions' have survived or gained popularity).
Now they are more of a basis for faith, as humans have the odd tendency of not owning up to their surroundings. Everyone would like to believe that their is someone/thing out there monitoring their actions, ready to give them a reward for their behavior, or that what is happening in their lives is a result of fate rather than their actions.
Of course that's a rather negative perspective, and everything has ups and downs. This same faith has stopped countless people from jumping off their local bridge or downing a 6-pack of Tylenol Ultra Strength. -

agree on many things you said. since english is not my mothertongue i am not able to express everything as precise as i would want to.
if it helps people to think that there is a god watching over them, keeping them from jumping off a bridge, then thats a good thing. religion should be a private thing in my opinion. no crosses or other religious symbols or clothing in public. i can´t seem to understand why it is so important everyone knows that i am christian/muslim/etc etc .
the vast majority of people can´t deal with differencies. even skincolor is a big problem for alot of people. -

And if they are a Christian a Jew or a Catholic or whatever, how does it directly effect you to the point you feel the need speak against them?
Yet I've never heard any of them go and bich about atheists.
