Xm8 or m4a1?

Why choose when you can have them both? <: but in case you can't ... go with the m4a1.
I've gone from using M4 > XM8 > M4. For me the game play with the M4 felt more challenging than that of the XM8. Plus, if you ever consider playing competitively the M4 will (more than likely) always be permitted.
The XM8 damage through boxes is incredible though.
In the end pick what you like best so you don't regret it. (If not a ZP buyer)
