cant get it downloaded PLEASE HELP

in CrossFire Support
the crossfire downloader comes up and gets to 99% then goes to (not responding). in my download folder i also have Crossfire_Setup_v1052 when i click on that i get a message saying.. the version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows your running. check to see if ur on x86 ( 32-bit ) or x64 (64-bit). what should i do ??? thanks for the help

    If you don't know what version of operating system you are using, click Start, in the search box type dxdiag and press enter. The first screen will show you your operating system and whether it's 32 or 64 bit.
    (If you are using Windows XP you will need to click Start then Run and type in dxdiag there)

    need help installing CF (Also)

    Upgraded my system to Windows 7 Pro, zapped my Windows Xp that I was using to play CF without saving anything because the system crashed due to (cancer) infection lol. Now when I try to download CF from any of the options provided by CF and the Alt/Downloader it will stop at 99% because it can not verify Publisher then another option opens up to run w/o publishers verification while it is still downloading at 1% and 1 sec.left. When I click run it will actually finish installation but when clicking shorcut or program file to start playing it will open to main screen. Then after clicking start to open servers it will say (error client...needs to close). thx.
