Mid air shots!

it really sucks when mid air shots don't register while sniping! i can see blood but no damage...i asked many of my friends about it, they all have the same problem!!..

Sniping is all about accuracy and timing...in crossfire it has become all about just programming bugs..i shoot an enemy as soon as he jumps out..i see blood..no damage..he lands down and shoots me and i am dead...this really sucks..

players don't even attempt mid air shots while jumping..coz it doesn't register on the enemy...they all shoot when they land on the floor after a jump...

i know that this bug has been there for ages...but y d f*k doesn't anybody fix it ?!!!?!?

i think this bug can be fixed!!.. at least make an attempt..what do u guyz think?.

I think its just lag. My shots register with people that have lower or the same ping as me...but the reg in the game isnt that good either.

try to shoot a lagger jumping...
try to shoot a 300+ ping mutant charging into you...
try awm'ing a friggin 200+ jumping bean...

Only way to do it is with a handgun for me, cuz my Dragy,TAR,XM8 or MP5 don't do anything. But when I use my Anaconda it kills with a question!

it's funneeh when you hit like, 5 or 6 headshots on then and then they bounce back and forth like crazy, tough they mutate me after doing this =c

Its all about the ping for air reg. This is just from personal experience but whenever i try to snipe someone in midair with the 90 ping i get in alpha, I will usually never reg and when i do its almost always a leg shot even if i aimed at the torso. Now when i play in west coast with 9-12 ping, I find myself being able to reg people in midair easily and the shot always lands where i aim at instead of it somehow landing on the legs. The only time i will get tanked by someone in midair with 9-12 ping is when they are like, teleporting, freezing in the game... lag.

tl;dr

Lower ping = more likely to air reg.
