I love how all these "pro players", who were not here when CF originally went live, are calling Scar Light owners "noobs". They must not even know that the ORIGINAL Scar light was FAR more overpowered than what we have now. They nerfed the spread recoil on it significantly back when the sound was changed to a very unpopular one (back when the announcer voices were changed to a VERY VERY VERY unpopular sound), and then after a huge outcry, the stapler sound was readded.
That had nothing to do with why I quit playing CF back then (over a year ago). I quit because hackers and chammers and mapwide aimbotting/shoot through walls was totally out of control, and the 125hz mouse fix wasn't yet known (so it was difficult to aim, compared to games using an excellent time tested system, like Unreal engine 3 (AVA), Source (CS:S), etc.
The Scar Light requires a much higher rank than the M4a1, so of course it's supposed to be a better gun than the M4. But people on these forums just don't think very much.
And if someone wants me to stop using my scar light, then gift me some GP or whatever it's called, and THEN I'll buy a M4 and shut up. Until then, go away. I had to break all my starter guns back in the day (back when GP earning got nerfed) just to afford my SL, AWM and deagle. And I have no money for a M4, so go e-rage on your pillow or something, not on the forums. It doens't belong here.
Seriously, the elitism in these F2P games is just overwhelming.
BTW, if anyone actually cares if someone flames you on the internet, about your gun choice, then I think you need to work on self esteem issues. Pick whatever gun you want, kill people with it, watch them whine, enjoy your game, move on, and leave elitist eragers behind

I keep my scarlight in bag 2 for precisely this reason. If the people who complain about weapons weren't complete dumbasses, they would spend the GP and get the same gun.
Think about it people: If everyone is using the best guns, it's ACTUALLY FAIR, because it comes down to skill at the point. -
M12's and Scar Light are the easiest guns to use in game.
They are noob. Designed for noobs. Saying there "superior" is like saying Brazilians dont lagg. its bs.
If you want to get the most kills in a pub. Practice and Aim. Dont take the easy option of trying to get a good with a noob gun. Ull end up with no dignity for ur skills. -

uA joke .i have nearly every gun in this game cause i love it and play many hours every day...
i CAN also play with other guns and im a good player; but since kills are the only thing i care for and i cant farm all day (technical limitations) i also play very often in public games therefore to ger many kills SL and M12s are the best and easiest way to get them -
I have tested out both guns and to me out of the two guns, I prefer the Scar-L over the M12S, for a few reasons, I prefer the noise the Scar-L generates over the super-sonic typewriter of death sound that the M12S generates, as for the looks of both guns, The Scar-L looks better, and to me performs better in different modes, the M12S seems like more of a Small TD map / GM gun than anything else, some people will say they get 1-shotted across a map by the M12S but, your more likely to do that with the Scar-L, and before I ramble on and on, I would suggest the Scar-L it to me is the less OP/Noobish gun out of the two.

Its the "Best Gun" because it requires no skill to use, along with m12s and Tommy.
Only a noob (You) would rate Scar L as the "best Gun" in game. Best guns in game are surely AK-47/M4A1/AWM, that's why we have so many variants of them ^.^ -
