Competitive Clan Database
This is an idea I've had for a while. Since no one knows who the best clan is, except for LifeLine and LPK, what if we had a separate web site? This website wold consist of match report section and maybe forums. The teams who wanted to participate would sign up, and whenever they had a scrim, they would report it. The administrators would look over the replay, okay the scrim, and that team would have a win/loss. If every scrim was recorded, we would know who is the best. Discuss this, maybe it will come to be real.

Great idea.
Their are so many other databases for other games out there, and CF being so big, I'm surprised there isn't one yet (maybe because the forums are already very successful).
I'd love to go over their and check out the top clans so when I'm facing them, I'll know what to be prepared for.
Although I'm not that competitive when it comes to playing CF, I still find this idea very good. -

I know exactly what you mean.
Let's say, LPK vs. LifeLine, just for an example. LPK beats LL.
LPK - 1 Win, 0 Losses.
LPK 10 months later - 593 Wins, 9 Losses.
LL 10 Months later - 934 Wins, 5 Losses.
RandyClanny 10 Months in - 500 wins, 1020 losses.
It's a great idea, IMO.
Maybe even some honor system like have a comment section on clan, where people can leave comments such as "QQers" or "Great clan, love to go against them another time" or something like that. The more I think about it, the better it becomes.
Sort of like a social network for CF clans. Hehe.

Leagues record official matches and they come to an end. This system would be like the ranking system, and people have kind of suggested it before. This would be ongoing, and every scrim would count.
Scrims in beta? scrims in echo? And how would we know what rules they agreed on?
It sounds like a stupid idea in my opinion. Having admins look over every single replay? Nobody wants to watch 10-20 of those a day. Plus, scrims don't really matter. It would say nothing about who the best team is. For example, my friend in winRAR or core gaming, whatever, said they've beaten LPK more than LPK's beaten them in scrims. Obviously, LPK is the better team but their scrim record doesn't show it. -

Basically a ladder is a ranking system. You play, you win, you earn points. You play, you lose, you lose points. The team with more points is the 1st. There's no tree and no match limit. -

That's actually a very smexy thing they got going on there.
Point system. -
That's what I wanted to add. Since most of the clans in beta aren't competitive, only echo scrims would count. This is like a new rank system, without farmers. It helps some people decide who has more wins, causing less arguing. I know it has flaws, but instead of being negative, you could help. Polleus, this would be different from a ladder because more teams would be allowed and this would be for everyone with a set of rules both teams could accept. It would be better if we had simple restrictions, such as M12, Scar Light, etc. The teams would decide the other rules.

only 4 good/decent teams in this game
no need for any site
LPK/LL
mindplay
n64
+ wOa
+Core gaming / whatever your clan is called now
+nstinct
+Raze Gaming
Then we have the improving teams such as:
LoTect
Club Terd
Facepalm?
etc
Plus, he's talking about competitive teams, not decent teams so you have the teams that are slowly beginning to become more competitive (the rest of the teams in WOGL-O).
And to the OP, this idea is terrible. Scrims are meant to be played for practice, not to win. If you play to improve and not to win, you may lose a lot of scrims, but you will start to win matches. Plus, WOGL does a good job of showing who the top teams are. -
I want to see who can improve in a period of time. Think, if you lose one scrim against a clan in November, and you scrim different clans until let's say January. Maybe you scrim the clan you lost to again, and you win. My wording in the original post was incorrect. This is to see who can improve the most.Disenchanted wrote: »+ wOa

Once again, scrims don't matter, they are for practice. -

Wasn't gonna mention my own team obviously, but I did forget instinct, cool guys / good team. -

So you have no faith in your own team? It's not bragging by mentioning your own team. I put my team up there (wOa) because I believe that we are a decent-good team. -

It's not having no faith, it's just we're new and I have no room to talk until we do something.
Nintendo hasn't "done" anything, but they've been around for a long time and were always an above average competitive team
