If the person has a history, we usually ban/infract right away. Sometimes we let them go because we try to be nice, but then later up usually we end up having to infract them because they do it again. If a person is an active forumer, and doesn't have a history and it's something simple like swearing, we'll sometimes just edit the post because of that. If they post something like inappropriate nude images, that's different and we automatically ban them.
We can't pick favorites, it's in our rule book. It depends on the reason/rate/history/etc.
An example would be if TastyLimes broke a rule. We'd infract him right away since he has such a history.
Someone like Mwak who isn't anywhere near as bad as him might just get a post edit or a warning if it is something as simple as one word bypassed. -
