Try out Eccss's:
Eccss wrote:Polling Rate: 125Hz (<- required to play CF efficently)
DPI: 1800dpi
IGSens: 14
IGZSens: 14
It worked out fine for me @ 1800 I tried both the 125Hz/1000Hz and settled with 1000Hz polling rate.
Changed Sens: 8 -

So to make things simple:
For polling rate ... I want the mouse to send "information"/movement to the computer fast so... I choose a higher Hz instead of a low (cause it's USB). Decreasing my possibilities of delay in game.
As for DPI just think of it as the more DPI you have the more speed/sensitivity and precision you will have. -
Ok now please listen.
*YOU NEED* to set the polling rate to 125 hz, NOT 500 or 1000 hz.
For MOST (95+%) of the games on the market, 1000hz (if your computer can handle it) or 500 hz (which all computers can handle) is completely fine. However, for some reason (and maybe a programmer can fill in for me), the Jupiter EX+ engine games have input calculation bugs when the polling rate is higher than 125 hz. This causes your mouse cursor to move in a "squiggly" line when trying to move it horizontally or vertically; this is more noticable (obviously) if you use a lower sensitivity. Crossfire, Combat Arms, Sudden Attack and Operation 7 all use the same game engine, and all suffer from this problem. What is amazingly odd, is that it may be the INPUT routines from Korea that are to blame for this, because the BASE engine--(the Lithtech FEAR engine) does NOT suffer from this issue at all. And of course, FEAR supports full 5.1 surround sound, while all the jupiter EX+ games only support miles 2D stereo.
Anyway, I have a deathadder too, so the 125hz polling rate is not a wild rumor--it's a known fix to the engine input problem. Even though these engines have only been out in USA for a couple of years, they were out in Korea much sooner (Like, 5 years ago), at that time, 125hz polling rate was still the standard for mice. -

also i changed the Axis's around a bit so it moves slower up and down than it dose side to side
I find this so dumb...
How can you play with your X/Y axis not evened out? I tried it and couldn't frag. -
Mine are;
Polling Rate: 125Hz
DPI: 2000
Windows Sens: 6-7
In-game Sens: 19
Scoped Sens: 28
Play Style: A mix of flickshots and tripwire shots.forever119 wrote: »damn... wish my new lachesis 5600 have all those functions ...

lol, you had me all hyped up cause i saw that you had already put what i was going to ask about (sorta why the high polling rate causes the squiggly line) but then let me down cause i though an answer to the problem was going to be included xD oh well, good none the less
