M4A1 guides

as everyone knows, there are a lot of m4 guides, but im probrably slightly more in depth, talking about all versions of it (on american CF not other versions)

first the fast guide if you dont want to waste your time reading:

best m4a1's in order (i dont own any of these except for the standard m4, but ive picked up all versions and used them before in game)

M4A1 CUSTOM CRYSTAL

RoF, about 0.2 times faster than normal m4 6.5/10

mag capcity: 35 rounds, 8/10 stars

paint job: 1/10 (come on, a crystal SCOPE? AND LASER AND FLASHLIGHT? EVEN THE RAIL? you have to be kidding me)

how often seen in game: 0.9/10

power: 5/10

the m4a1 custom crystal combines the versality of the m4 custom with the accuracy and paint job of the crystal, you can basically spray at far range with the red dot and have 27/35 bullets hit dead on, (VERY high amount of hits compared to many other weapons)
you should us this as often as you can in search and destroy and team deathmatch, and it will rack up a ENORMOUS (im not kidding) amount of kills, the "re-balanced" scilencer both keeps your bullets a silent death AND increases accuracy by 20% approx. you should use it from the hip at close/medium range, and the red dot in full auto at far/medium range, (belive it or not it extremley accurate spraying with this baby

now the problems, the only problems with this gun is that its immposibble to get for who knows how long? unless you have like 30k ZP and won the kriss/ak halloween crate, even then its only for seven days.

the red dot on this gun is really a blue/white dot, (did they put a crystal snip into the middle of the sight) so its kinda hard to aim in bright areas

the last problem isnt really too bad, but i think they should have kept the cool paintjob of the crystal and make the accsecories stay black, other wise this peice of crap (in terms of skin job) looks like a gun made of glass :P

M4A1 CUSTOM

RoF, about 0.2 times faster than normal m4 8/10

mag capcity: 35 rounds, 8/10 stars

paint job: 10/10, (this is the coolest looking m4 yet!)

power 5/10

this is pretty much the same as the m4 custom crystal excpet it has more recoil and a red dot instead of a blue dot, it also is entierly black, and would recommend semi auto ONLY at far range.

M4A1 GOLD

RoF: fires as fast as a submachien gun! about 0.4-0.8 times faster RoF then normal m4, 10/10

power 5/10

magasine capacity: 38 rounds (SPRAY ALL THE WAY! ) 10/10

paint job: kinda okay, should be reupdated to the RPK gold skin (brighter, less yellow, more white, and shines more) 6/10

how commonly seen: (takes 100 (or was it 90?) FREAKING COUPONS TO GET! the black market m4a1 gold is not available anymore (BTW, how did you guys get that version, the one with the cool japanese stripes on the handguard)) 1/10
the M4A1 custom is the best m4 that is not beefed up so that its godlike, I LOVE how fast it fires so i can take down those m12s noobs! >;D it also has 8 extra rounds which is good for sprayers

the bad news is that it can also break your gun and waster more ammo due to the high RoF, and im begging smilegate to update the old golden gun's skins

M4A1 CRYSTAL

power 5/10

RoF: same as normal M4A1 7/10 (the m4 already has a fats rate of fire)

paint job: NICCCCCCCCEEEEEEEEE 7/10 (if you add crystal accsesories like on the m4a1 custom crystal, then it look like BS from satan

mag capacity: 30 rounds, average 5/10

THE M4 CRYSTAL is bassically a beefed up silver/adv in that its so much more accurate
you can do 3-occasionally 5-rounmd bursts up to far range!

M4A1 ADV

RoF 0.2 times faster than normal m4 6.5/10

paint job: close to the best camo job 9/10 NICE JOB TEXTURING CF!

magasine capacity: 35 rounds, 8/10

the only reason why this is below the m4 custom crystal is that the crystal is more accurate. this is a m4a1 but with a desert/woods camo, scilencer, and 35 extra rounds.
fire in semi only at far range

M4A1 SILVER
only reasonthis is slightly lower than m4a1 adv is because its sliver job is kinda crappy, and its a BP gun, takes a century to get 8900( i think thats the approx. price) BP

M4A1 HALLOWEEN
same as a m4 but with 5 extra rounds, cost a large crappy amount of zp for just 7 days and cool paint job

M4A1 STANDARD

RoF 7/10

mag capacity: 30 rounds 5/10

paint job, average military black 5/10

damage, moderate 5/10

comonality: 9/10 CHEAP COST OF ONLY 43 K!

the assualt rifle that 78% of people use in TD, 40% in escape mode and S&D, 50% in GM, and 20% in MM, this gun is a very good overall gun and has no strengths or weaknesses.
a good thing about it is that it fires fast compared to several other assualt rifles and is veyr accurate, it also takes a long time to break if you take care of it well.

the problems as that its recoil is more annoying than staring at a guy owning me with a m9 or a m12s. its recoil goes awkwardly up and to the left, so be advised about it. it can also occasionally be outgunned by the noobish and dreaded SCAR H&L, the mp5 ADV, rarely deagle, and almost always the m12s and thompson "chicago typewriter" SMG.


so overall, the m4 is a very good gun, with not too many goods or bads, i recommend it to begginers and people who want an all out good gun.
