I'm in need of a suggestion...
Someone suggest a better game to play since this one's not being supported and updated anymore according to the moderators. I'd like something a little more current with updated graphics and a non-foreign player base but still with a good smooth shooter engine.
MMOFPS is a plus so long as the feel is good, no third person, I don't like the feel.
Planetside is too much pure combat for me, I like there to be something to do besides just killing.
Whatcha got for me, hoes?
Also should I play the Mass Effect series? I heard it's pretty good.
Call of Duty MW2 or Black Ops? I heard they're both good also.

I have played it quite a bit. The problem with it is a feeling of clunkyness I get from it. It's too slow to rush into combat, the weapon spray is too inaccurate making it less fun to run around and fight.
The upside is Genesis A.D. is also on Ijji and has AVA's feel but Assault gets rocket jump pack to rush into combat or assault sniper positions with ninja speed and the weapons spray a bit better. I've been half enjoying it, it needs to be polished a bit though. As it goes out of Beta I could see it getting a lot better or a lot worse.
The biggest problem is to be geared out you have to play like 10 games a day or you won't afford all your gear. The people that do have it all will completely annihilate you if you're more casual. You won't be able to hurt them through their armor and their blasters will 1-hit smoke you in gimp armor. Really unbalanced in that respect. -

Combat Arms was so hacker swarmed the last time I tried it, it was just STUPID. If it's gotten better it might be worth a retry. America's Army was waaaaaaaaay too boring when I played it, basically it was round start, everyone goes prone and snipes for 40 minutes. I rush and get sniped in 10 seconds, sit around and wait. Way too srs bznss.
Fear combat eh? Lemme look into that. -

You might like AVA then. If you go like sniper/rifleman for the accy it's better on most maps. The initial missions are fun to do, too. I still enjoy AVA occasionally. Maybe multiple games will have to replace one for the time being, that's ok with me. ;D I can play a round of Genesis, AVA, Fear and maybe even go back and throw in some Left4Dead and Day of Defeat to get my FPS fix. ;D
Oh, there's a good question, anyone play Steam Mods? Anything good come out in the last couple months worth playing? Did that HL1 remake for Source ever finish? -

If you go to ava its says 1 GB of Ram recommended but your gonna need 2GB in order to not constantly lag and its updated every 1 or 2 months. As for soldier front it has site and game maintenance once a month. -

I don't like the unreal engine, for most games it has that third person kind of thing going on that bugs the sh.it out of me. And the weapons in most of those Quake/Unreal games are lame. Farcry 2 is a possibility, I liked the older ones that were sort of tactical games. I'm generally not a fan of stand alone game play either, I dunno why that is... It's sort of a ... It's probably the same developer for both games. So they just made two games with the same mode. It's a fun mode, it'd be stupid for them not to put it in their next game, amirite?you tried Huxley the Dystopia? that's also on ijji...
I definately would've tried it, if it was ever released. It never got out of development hell. I heard it's beta tests were just HORRENDOUSLY bogged down.
Here's looking forward and hoping Blizzard's MMOFPS is the fu.cking awesome sh.it we probably all know it can be. I really have high hopes they won't fu.ck that up, it has the possibility of being such a huge seller and an incredibly awesome game if they do it right. -
