[Intelligent Discussions] Forgiveness

Gratz Hi. You got a decent and mostly intelligent conversation going here.
OT: Personally I prefer to kick BRs than have to see their chat and watch them lag. It ruins competitive games and is just plain frustrating. They should go play a different game with servers more local to their country. This is an American/Euro game and it should only be played by people from those countries. -
You have to remember, they're human beings too. If we forgive them, and actually treat them nice, maybe they'll stop kicking you if you get a 3K. It's a chain reaction. Kind of like this:
1. English speaking players troll BRs for being laggers
2. BRs get mad and trash talk in Portuguese
3. English speaking players laugh at the BRs and degrade them with words like "foreign scum" for example
4. BRs get mad, and download hacks [so they can take out their pain and rage on English speaking players] They also start kicking English speaking players
5. English speaking players go on forums and flame BRs.
6. BRs come on forums and start flaming English speaking players
7. MODs come in and close the thread.
As you can see, nobody profited. If BRs were treated better, like human beings, they would give the same respect back.
This is the same like giving flowers to suicide bomber.
Everyone is responsible for their actions.
If they hack - its only their faults, what a crooked thinking is it to think that we r responsible and got to be nice.
I will add something OT : (it can teach u some new information from mid Europe)
In our country (Czech republic) we got 2 large minorities : vietnamies and gypsies. Gypsies were first reported there in 1241, but they were considered a Turkish (tatar) spies at this time.
First record about them as a gypsies from chronical says : "1416... and that year gypsies wandered across the Czech lands, robbing people"
I could have follow some more information and data, but i will just say : they were unwanted and treated as non citizens with almost no rights, cause they were causing troubles anywhere, yet they should not be harmed...
nowadays in Czech republic, we build them houses, because its not possible now for them to wander across the country. (its small anyway
But nothing else has changed since the 1416... They are uneducable, they are thives, burglars, thugs, and they dont work. (90% of them)
On the other hand vietnamies are there for 20 years (mostly after the fall of communism) and their children can speak our language on our level without accent, they study hard (and good) they work hard, and they are mostly peacefull.
U can say we hate the gypsies for a long time, u cant hate vietnamies like this, so the vietnamies has better opportunities. Thats not true, nobody hated them, till they began to steal. And there is such a thing, that you will know : positive discrimination...
Most of the time, when somebody makes a fault, its his fault, not others.
(Its 9 am here, and i didnt check grammar or spelling so in combination with my dusty English it can be deadly mix) -

In cultures where forgivenes is not a value, revenge killings often become a way of life.
USA culture has been based mainly on Judeo-Christian biblical values.... the ten commandments are basically the usa laws - no stealing no murder, one man one woman = marriage. As a part of this, forgiveness has also been incorporated into the value system - we see it in the courts, etc.
In some cultures there is no such thing as forgiveness. If one looks at the quality of life in cultures based on biblical values such as forgiveness, and cultures that dont even have the word "forgive" in their language, it is evident that the quality of life in biblically based countries far exceeds cultutres that are not based on values such as forgiveness.
That's kind of culturally insensitive n sht 0_o -

Off Topic: v1337's comment was too long to quote. What I have to say though is:
Sensational? ...
On-Topic: Brazilians aren't all bad, but I didn't think that before. I was a pretty bad in my first days of Cross Fire, and if I was still at that skill level you might not have distinguished me differently if ping wasn't visible on the scoreboards in-game. I even TRIED to hack (thankfully I failed), and soon after I realized that I was getting really good at knifing. I soon realized what was REALLY going on in the community, so then I changed my opinions about everyone being a hacker.
I'm not supporting Brazilians, but I don't think there is any need to discriminate against them. I have seen players of many other nationalities hack here in Cross Fire. I do see a point in despising hackers, but I have experienced the exact same motives for hacking. NA and EU players aren't to blame either because the language barrier is one huge problem in this community.
If you're discriminating against Brazilians, you're putting their nationality, the place where they live (due to ping/latency), and their everyday activities against them.
There's nothing anyone can do about it (BTW, I've posted 5 complaint threads).
