You have to remember, they're human beings too. If we forgive them, and actually treat them nice, maybe they'll stop kicking you if you get a 3K. It's a chain reaction. Kind of like this:
1. English speaking players troll BRs for being laggers
2. BRs get mad and trash talk in Portuguese
3. English speaking players laugh at the BRs and degrade them with words like "foreign scum" for example
4. BRs get mad, and download hacks [so they can take out their pain and rage on English speaking players] They also start kicking English speaking players
5. English speaking players go on forums and flame BRs.
6. BRs come on forums and start flaming English speaking players
7. MODs come in and close the thread.
As you can see, nobody profited. If BRs were treated better, like human beings, they would give the same respect back.
Why did Z8Games name the servers in Florida the American South Servers instead of renting a server in Brazil?
Because they know better.
Not to bash on all aspects of Brazil / South America...
How can you hate that?
I find this "discussion" marvelously annoying and utterly pointless, comparable to using a magnifying glass in order to read 72 point font. -

Z8Games named the servers "American South Servers" because they actually can't rent a server in Brazil. They do not have the license to do so, but if they could. I know they would. -

I don't believe so, but dropping this subject.
We should forgive, but how can we have a successful community if we forgive everything. Oh, this guy used to hack, it's okay, we forgive him, come on back guy. He may or may not hack again, but why does he deserve that second chance?
Today, I encountered someone that I know used to hack. He asked if I could look past his actions and be his friend, he did this one time previously and disappointed me. I refused. Forgiveness is an important part of any community, but it should not be given to those who would only use it to wipe their noses.
We could sit and argue the philosophical points of forgiveness all day, but as it applies to CrossFire, we cannot forgive everyone. In order to build or preserve a community we have to trust and respect each other and there are people that will not even try to do that or they will continually disappoint us.
I'm annoyed. I enjoy sharing my views with those that have come to their own conclusion but I dislike it when people use it as an excuse not to think for themselves, and for that reason, I don't like this discussion. Anyone could have come to the same conclusion I just did if they sat down and thought for a little while, whether they agree with it or not. This exchange of views is what you are looking for, is it not? But this doesn't build a community, it merely exposes the moving parts within it. By example you just might repair the machine, but at the least and worst, you're raising an oligarchy. Do be careful.
The biggest hurdle in this community is the difference between in-game skill levels. -
Humans are not perfect. And forgiveness in reference to most online games is a rather almost non-existent; it is sort of implied, not requested or asked for. simply because you can get away with most things online than in person. also most jabs and such are meant as jokes, i mean, if i said half the things i say on this forum to you guys in person, i would either be a jerk or an extremly laid back guy, which im not.

Brazil, is a great country why hate? There first language is not English,so calm down. There just playing the game to have some fun. Just because of there geographical location doesn't mean you have to hate on them. Wow technology ( aka servers ) can really reveal the true side of people ( discrimination ). It's kinda of side that your actually HURTING people's feeling's online, yes online and to be honest i think the people who are trashing on Brazilians there committing something called cyber bullying.

Bullying in this game is pretty pointless, there's no need to hurt someone's feelings. Actually, I'm in favor of cyber-genocide on this count. Just saying. CS did it. -

Then- mercy killing, they're mostly bad anyway, high ping or not. No joke, played three Brazilians one time and I honestly felt like I had a laser pointer and that they were just curious little puppies. To be honest, I'd like it if only NA and Europe could play this game.
