Increasing FPS

Look, I've searched the forums for about two months, and I've found several different ways to increase your framerate. I've used the following methods so far.
CCleaner
GameBooster 2
Puran Defag
Perfect Disk 11
I've tried driver partitioning and it didn't help much.
I've put my settings to best performance, and it helped by like 5 fps.
I used to have 35 FPS max at the beginning, when I downloaded this game. Now I have about 30-80 FPS depending on the amount of people and the usage of weapons. That's after I turned down the graphics and did everything above.
People are gonna say get a new video card or computer, but I don't really wanna go shopping for a computer again. Can anyone help out? Some kind of program to increase my FPS by like I dunno 50?
I have 80 FPS in a 1v1 in Arena. A knife match. I have 20 FPS when I'm in a 8v8 SnD and have people throwing smokes everywhere.
If I could have a constant 80 FPS no matter where I go or who I play with, I'll be happy with that. Thanks.

  • how old is ur comp? try not to multitask on ur comp cuz thats how your fps decreases. during the summertime when it was like 98 degrees i got like 70 fps and i wuz like WDF? i normally have 100 or more. Keep ur comp cool using a small fan.
  • Naww my PC isn't that old that I'd have to use a fan to cool it down. If you 70 FPS I'll still be jealous of you. I think my PC is two years old? Just a normal Vista Home Basic with a crappy processor and 2 GB of RAM. I don't multitask, except for Ventrilo. I close all backround programs with GB2 so yeah. I just need some detailed instructions on how to raise my FPS or have a constant and solid 80 or even 70 is fine with me.

Every game works like s*** on Vista im sorry to tell you but thats the truth. Get Windows 7 or get to the lowest lvl possible... Windows XP SP3. Id say Windows 7 as 2GB of RAM are enough for Windows 7 XD. Well you choose the pie its your decision.
  • I liked pie too. I wasn't asking for your opinion on my PC buddy. I was asking for.. eh why don't you look at how I started this thread. -_-
