Now before I start this, a note to all trolls and such. Do not say that I am QQing, or that a million of these threads have been created. I am aware of this and I am intentionally making this thread. (:
This game is amazing. Being a free to play game, its just amazing how many patches we get, how many cheaters are being banned, and the game itself. I am not here to talk about that. I have played this game for over a year and a half now, both for fun and competitively.
I'm sure I'm not the only one, but when I get tired of Echo 8 public games or scrims, I just do public matches in different servers. When I do this, I see so many Brazilians. I mean masses and masses of them. Now I'm pretty sure that with this game being named CrossFire North America, we should, to some extent, be able to play without these people interrupting the gameplay. I know that the developers cannot put a server in South America. I'm not asking for that. I speak on behalf of the North American community of this game.
Over time, this game has attracted many players. People from South America, Asia, Europe, Oceania, and many other places. Games are a way to get away from real life problems, at least for me it is. Taking this game away from me would upset me. Don't call me a nerd, but if I'm in a pickle, I just come on and play and the problem just goes away. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one escaping into games. I would be upset if this game was taken away from me, as I'm sure that some foreign people would be, too.
If we cannot ban other countries, there must be a solution. Putting a ping cap on one of the servers would help to some extent. Echo 8 seems to be the channel and server in which the competitive scene takes place most of the time. One channel wouldn't be enough for hundreds of people. If we could put a ping cap on Echo 7,8, and 9, the problem with laggers might cease a bit. Asian players know that Alpha 7 is where all of the Asian people like to be, so why wouldn't North Americans know that Echo 7,8, and 9 are the channels where most English speaking people stay?
These channels are barely used, so there would be minimal harm. Our foreign friends could enjoy the other servers, and we (North Americans) could play on the capped channels without complaining.
I'm pretty sure that there will be trolls. Please don't troll this thread. This is just an idea, and I am fully aware that it has been suggested before. We have to speak to the developers directly, to prove this case. if a GM reads this, capped servers would make so many people happy.

I wonder why they cant just make 1 server for North Americans and 1 for the UK people...is it really that hard?
Awesome thread...hope it doesn't get closed or ignored...like every other thread that's flooded with truth.
If they dont start to listen to people like you, this game will only go on for about 2-3 years.

This server was asked like 100s of times a month after we switched from SubaGames website to Z8Games, thats the time where a lovely GM put a translated Registration Form for our BR friends to play and lagg.
Now we all ask for the Ping Capped Server nicely and we all get ignored

US West Server is alot harder than other servers.
Its basically the only server i know that when you join it you know when you find a room, there will be no noobs. Only good people.
I play any game in Alpha, i either get kicked, called hack, get tanked by a 438 ping BR or w/e.
But IMO if you want to find a good server, where there arent many hack.ers, or noobs come to West. -

Not many people from North America will like 90+ ping on West Server though when they can get ~40 ping on Alpha/Canada servers -.- -

And I'm sure MODs will flame you for being "racist" or "segregant" because of this statement. They don't seem to realize how irritating and unruly they can be, though. I'm with you 100%, but I doubt you will get much support from any officials. -

i dunno. I think this is a bit out of place here. This kid has presented a reasonable argument followed by a possible solution. The difference here is that it's actually not another one of these threads. While, yes, the thread's main point is to bring up an issue that has long been QQ'd about amongst the crossfire community, this specific rendition of the matter has actually put a foot infront of itself unlike the others. It's up to the community now to give their input on the idea and move that other leg.
It is, however, completely up to the developers/whoever is incharge of what actually goes in here to actually say, "Alright, these people want this and it's actually doable this go 'round, so let's do it." But, the more people we have that more or less agree with this person, the more likely this will be put forward.

i got an easier solution for you, if you don't want to play with high pingers, dont play with them. just leave the room. if you play early in the morning or late at night you are going to be playing with foreigners, simple as that
Also there is no reason to limit the people that play crossfire. If people want to play our version from other countries let them. There is nothing wrong with people from Asia, South America, and Europe playing our version.

You do realize the only reason I play CF is because I can actually play with a bunch of my American mates, right? The majority of the UK server community sucks ass, they're not competitive, they're annoying and they cannot speak English at all, I think you'll find more nice Americans in NA pubs than you'd find a nice English person in the UK server.

filled with spops & armor & scar lite, although i must admit the kids in west coast put up alot more fight than the kids in alpha 7. echo 8 is filled with angry white kids who get personal each time u kill them. IMO west caost is the best out of the 3 mentioned above. -

echo 8 is a lot better than west coast, not just because I live in Europe, more likely because there's few to no BRs in the pubs, and if there are BRs in the pubs, they get kicked. -

Yeah, I know you said not to mention this, but seriously what makes you think that your thread is going to change that the other 100+ threads didn't? I just don't understand your logic in even making this.
Don't get me wrong though, I am totally 100% for this suggestion. You just need to think before you try and sound smart by saying "Do not say that I am QQing, or that a million of these threads have been created. I'm pretty sure that this topic has probably been discussed with the "Higher Ups", considering their where 100+ threads on this.
