solution+reply:
if you have a fairly decent graphics card but a horrible motherboard this could be your problem as i have this problem also my processor is really old but my graphics card is really new. in order to sort your fps out you need to get a decent processor i think. so long as you can get 100+ unstable you'll be fine.

as for the UK servers, i imagen some form of maintenence will take place somewhere down the line to fix this issue, but for now just play in uk3 and 4.
