You are on to something there. If you "forgive" someone, by definition you are quite literally erasing it from your memory. You treat it as if it never happened.
Forgiveness does have a stopping point. If for example, I was the manager of a store, and one of my employees robs the store, asks for forgiveness, then robs it again, then asks for forgiveness, then robs it again, etc. I don't have to accept that person again as my employee since I know them to be untrustworthy. The better side of forgiving someone is wisdom about how much or how far you should forgive them.
I don't know if I'm making sense here. If I'm not, just tell me so. -
Lol, first off, we don't provoke these BR's. They provoke us just for being better.
We don't degrade the BR's, they degrade themselves, they know this game is for people located in the US, but they still want to play, they can't play as well as others, so they download hacks.
This statement below isn't degrading and / or provoking? Give me a break.
We have to face the BR problem and do our best to remove them from existence

My two cents:
It is NEVER impossible to forgive, no matter the reason or cause. It is in fact OUR decision to forgive those and I would like to think the more adult thing to do in a situation that warrants such an action. I'm not saying it's easy to forgive, but it's certainly the higher road. You can be a much better example being the bigger person in any situation instead of the bitter, angry and grudge-holding individual.
Do Brazilians hack? Certainly. Do they cause problems in-game? Certainly. How many other groups do the same thing? Are they the ONLY ones? No. Some of you argue that they are the biggest majority, but that opinion is irrelevant. This is a discussion of forgiveness between human beings as a WHOLE. Someone treats you wrong, the natural instinct is to treat the wrong back and that would indeed make you no better than them.
Calling a certain group unintelligent, annoying, immature and degrading them makes you better how? It doesn't. Learn to take the high road and be the better person and simply let it go. Stop being ignorant in thinking one group causes all the problems. It really is only making you look like the stupid one :-/

I can't fathom what other reasons they would be angry with us. Can you? All I can say is better ping, generally better computers and we get called hackers and apparently we're the scum of CF, which really sucks because we're in the minority.

Yet a good majority of the community call them the same thing and generally degrade them as the same scum. Of course they would be mad. Use common sense. You talk all day about owning them and having fun beating on them in-game and degrading them by basically stating that they have less than you. Wouldn't you be mad? You say people don't provoke them and I can't think how that couldn't be farther from the truth, as a majority. You act is if this community does nothing wrong to them and that is completely ignorant and ridiculous. -

I don't provoke them, I doubt many NA players do. We're simply warming up in maybe preparation for a clan war or echo8 or a scrim or just pubbing, and we're just on a merry way. Then all the sudden, we get accused for hacks or just kicked because we're gringos. If I was a dbag towards BR's at first, then I wouldn't be mad and I'd just say I deserve it. But the truth is these BR's just kick for stupid reasons with absolutely no evidence or just for stupid reasons and they think people hack just because they have a decent score, but when the person with a decent score is a BR, then they don't hack. I know I am provoking them as a way to vent off some steam, but this is the forums, this is mostly (I am guessing on this) dominated by NA or EU players, BR's really aren't exposed to this except for the few BR's on this forum, it is unfair and it may **** them off that they are being generalized, but the thing is the majority of them are basically the stereotypes.
And honestly, the only reason why I am such an ******* to BR's is because I am absolutely sick of getting kicked from games, on Echo 8 I go out of my way to make fun of BR's while I lead the eradication of them (vote kicking), its just a way of me getting back at all the BR's who kicked me out of countless games even though I am 2 months old. The BR problem was in Combat Arms too, but to be honest, I couldn't care less because I wouldn't get kicked for stupid reasons (except for the silly amount of hackers). And to be honest, I am tired as **** right now and this probably has nothing with what you're saying. -

well then I stand corrected, I don't see the point in insulting them in game if you cannot actually do anything about it as in most pubs you cannot kick them. I can see why they insult on the forums, as its mostly NA players who like to vent their fustrations at the BR's not understanding what American South is. I would like to see in the future a good solution to get these things out of our servers. It already has American South made for them, I cannot understand why they would not want that.... it should be 30-40 ping better, but I guess when you can't read english you wouldn't know that either. Unfortunately, they won't ban on racism, because that would remove all of the "major" forumers. The community has grown into this, not much anyone can do. A server shouldn't have to be the solution to cheats - if to latency, then fine (other places also await a server yet do not cause the ripples that Brazil does).
With a couple of friends, we ran an interesting experiment in a West Coast SnD pub. Legitimate players got voted upon for having
in their name and for going positive with Uzis. Sure we did a bit of typical online Portugese, but honestly, do you expect Brazilians to learn English simply to play the closest CF version for them? I have no more respect for people who cry and bitch about Brazilians than I do for the Brazilians (or whatever nationality) who use cheats. -

Brazilians are not the only group that hacks and/or kicks your from a game. Nor that speaks their language in-game. There is NO possibility to demand brazilians (or whichever group) to speak English. Stay focused, their ISP's are fraudulent. They absorb Brazilians' money in exchange for a lousy Internet quality. Combat Arms has a Brazilian version, as you should know. Do you know their latency on it? It's far from good, believe me.
Returning to the thread's subject. Basically you ask us: "Is that possible to forgive the past actions of player A?". My answer is short and clear: No, it isn't. You will ALWAYS remember his actions and will not trust him like you could trust before he cheated. Obviously you can try having a good relationship with the player, but nothing will erase his past actions. -

As someone who has played CrossFire both in NA and in Greece (which is right next to Turkey for you geography challenged people) it is so difficult to play with high latency. You say "Yeah well they tank," but when I played in Europe at least the few times to check how bad my ping would be, as it would probably be the best opportunity to personally test this I found that my shot registry compared to my normal NA ping (50 ping USA - 150 ping Greece) it was well......shot

It is totally ignorant to say that foreigners have an advantage with high latency and if you disagree when and where did you play CrossFire that you top fragged while on the other side of the world with high latency so you can prove me wrong. It is possible but definitely not as easy when you barely reg with 150+ ping.
Side note: Also Hi weren't you just calling people scum today in pubs

true but thats because we humans are selfish and egocentric and our minds cannot go passed a certain point due to what our society "rules" dictate... i mean a person that is, lets say Hindu in a catolic society will usually be set apart from others... like lets say as i know ur portuguese ill tell u " betinhos com mentalidade muito fechada, que todos os que se encontram fora do k eles consideram ser normal e bom, sao anormais" that kinda stuff... i agree that we cant forgive someone if that person did an horrible act and i dont think we should forgive if that is the fact, but usually we dont forgive people because they did something we didnt like -
