Using an Xbox360 controller
I would like to use my Xbox controller for use on this game. I have searched some other threads made and did not find a helpful answer to my question. Is there anyway possible to do this? I am using Pinnacle Game Profiler which is used to map the buttons/sticks on the controller to keyboard/mouse movements.
It works fine until I open Crossfire so Im guessing it is either the anti-hack program and/or it is not "coded" in the game?? Does anyone have any helpful answers?

I think you might be able to do that but I'm not that positive about that. -
This is very possible with a program call "JoytoKey" It might take some getting used to setting it up but it very basic. You give your controller buttons the same commands that are set for the keyboard. Like A Button would be Mouse-left click. And A would then be your fire key. Heres a layout of the 360 controller buttons: http://www.jkirchoff.net/?p=537

The program I am using now does the same exact thing, it seems that Crossfire blocks the signals. -
For me, the point of PC gaming is being able to DL nearly everything for free.
Well that's always helpful :rolleyes:Not when there are games specific to PC. I play NFS Shift on PC with XBox controller, only because I am too lazy to go buy an XBox.
Games like that, or role-playing games (to an extent), I can understand the use of a gamepad.
But first-person shooters... Just doesn't seem right, to most people. -
Like I said before, some people feel more comfortable with controllers than keyboards. I, personally, fail miserably with controllers on FPS games.CookieMunzta wrote: »Well that's always helpful
