The ability to sell or delete temporary guns...
wouldn't it be great if we were able to sell or delete the temporary weapons we get from the black market??
i think its pretty annoying having all those temporary weapons wich i dont use sitting in your storage and completely filling it up?
maybe we could sell them for 10gp per day?
(example: you win a scar light for 7 days from a thompson crate but you dont like the gun so you sell it for 10x7=70 gp!)
i think it would be a great solution for all those temporary guns wich you don't use.

We have definitely heard the request for a "trash" button.
This idea has been transmitted but there is really no function built in the game client to handle that. So there's really no ETA on whether something like this is going to get into the game.
However, knowing that as we increase the number of crates (both zp and gp) this "cluttered inventory" idea is something to always keep bringing up. -

Black Market items are marked with a . They have different itemicons, so I presume that, even having the same stats, models and sounds, are different items. Another proof of this fact is that items do not accumulate with non- items.
Shouldn't be hard to make the temporary items sell-able for 0 GP, and instead of having a "Sell" Button, you could have a "Discard" one. You wouldn't be changing, for example, the normal M4's price. You'd be changing the M4A1 price to 0. -

I agree having all does tem guns are annoying just having them their sitting in the storage. -
After fielding this question elsewhere on the boards I will come back to give some more reasoning on this.
The selling or removing of these guys would have to be implemented such that selling your gun to remove it from your inventory so you could open another crate to get the gun with full durability could not happen.
The point being that crate temporary guns were never supposed to ALWAYS be at full durability. Especially for the GP versions of guns. They end up being more valuable and better over time than buying the permanent version in the first place. And they didn't contribute to the flow of Game Points that should be in place.
Messing with the flow of GP is something that the developers and us take very seriously. GP needs to be there but it should not be exploitable so that it doesn't mean anything.
Not to mention, the MORE GP means something to the character the more giving it away to players means something to them.
But the bottom line is selling the item, for nothing, or just removing it. Would mean that the next crate temp weapon would come in at full durability. Unless a system was made to either compensate, or work with what is currently there.
The idea would be we want to allow people to have clean inventories. Not use a game function to exploit GP savings. -

Well that is a problem indeed, but I'm sure we could find a solution to it. -
Well sorry for the double post, but I've been thinking in some ways to get our inventories clean while not abusing the bug you mentioned Saidin.
So I thought in:
- The discard option would only be available to weapons that had an expiration time above 30/60/90 days (one of those). This would prevent the player from abusing the GP (by winning a 7 day version of the weapon, break it, discard and win it again, repeating the same process and earning tons of points).
or/and
- A discard fee. Like 75% of its repair value would be charged for the item elimination from the inventory.
Some opinions would be appreciated. And if this has flaws, I would like you to point them.
