Hackers, are there really that many or is this "normal"?
Well I just started this game yesterday, less than 24 hours ago. And I've ran into quite a few questionable player. First I would like to know is there certain armors that can give a lot of defense/HP, and does damage/accuracy/range increase with "ranks"?
First reason I ask is because I noticed quite a few players whom I could unload clip after clip of bullets in, and not take them down, I don't just mean spraying bullets all over, but accuratly unloaded 2 fulls clips into someone about 5 IG feet away.
Second reason is because I notice these peticular players are also able to use the default weapons (such as M16) and get kills from 2 - 3 hits (non-headshot) and have increased range. On the race track map (forgot the name, Moraco or something?) well the opposing building across the entire map, I've had people snipe me using m16's/submachine guns. Not just a lucky shot, because I get those too once in a while, but repeatedly getting in headshots on me from that distance with the same weapon. At one point I met a player who only got headshots, pure headshots. Every kill it displayed he got had a skull next to it.
And do boxes and such (basically anything "square" you can hide behind) not provide sufficient coverage and just for decoration/climbing? Because I've had people kill me by directly shooting at it when I was crouched behind it.
So is this natural occurence for veteran players and such, basically people with skills. Or is it out of the ordinary?
I noticed hacks for this game are displayed all over the place..I googled "Crossfire hacking" in hopes of finding an answer to these questions on possibly some forum, the results I got was hundreds of websites offering CF hacks, and even some websites on how to "Not get caught" when using hacks in CF..
I'm still loving the game regardless, but it gets annoying when your team is up on a TD by atleast 20 points, some random guy shows in that no one can kill, camps at your spawn point, and keeps dropping you in two pistol shots, and the opposing team ends up winning by over 40 points.

On the Train map I once ran up on top of the train, shot one guy, jumped off and shot another guy in mid air, landed and turned to shoot another guy then switched to handgun and headshotted 3 more guys. It's all skill. The game has some natural "lagg" or "poor physics" so shooting just above someones head or just below it can count as a headshot.
The maps Monaco, and I snipe using a handgun...which usually gets everyone riled up considering I make a mockery of them getting sniped by my s.exy handgun.
And to answer your question, yes there is body armours, one is for your head that reduces head damage and the other is for body.
Consistent headshots will be an aimbot, and yeah those boxes can be shot threw. Some walls can be shot threw too. Also the boxes glitch and people can hide inside them.some random guy shows in that no one can kill, camps at your spawn point, and keeps dropping you in two pistol shots, and the opposing team ends up winning by over 40 points.
I think you'd hate to see me in the prison map with 'snipers only'. I clock up a good 70 knife kills, until they boot me :I

Yeah I've started to notice ever since I got promoted to Soldier Rank C I've been getting a lot better (aim and everything) but it still brings up the question of these massive tankers. I just got off CF and about 10 minutes ago I was in Fortess, I snuck up behind a guy camping by one of the windows, and emptied a full clip into the back of his head, in which case he turned around and knocked me out with a shotgun. If the head gear is really that effective, I may make an investment in some in the future.
And apparently knifing makes you "noob." the fact of the matter is..when the other person has a gun, and they have a person with a melee weapon slowly running towards them, and they can't kill them, which one is the noob again? Knifing is actually extremely hard for me which is why I barely do it, I can't aim for crap with the knives.
But now I'm getting accused of hacks since I'm actually getting a lot better..that's not the only excuse they use either, if the hacking accusations don't work, they call me a lagger and tell people to kick me for lagging when I have around 150 Ping while nearly everyone else has a 200+, some 300.
