But he wants 100+, not 80-90. . . JK JKSideEff3cts wrote: »CF is CPU dependent. Gfx card doesn't matter a whole lot.
I have an AMD Athlon 64 x2 dual core 5200+, but an nvidia 6150SE and i can get about 80-90 fps.
Your right!
New Vid-Card
New CPU
Download Gamebooster
Then you should also download CCleaner to clean all the junk from your computer.

CF is more CPU insensitive and the GFX Card is fine for it.
You dont actually need 100 FPS since your eyes cant see more than 60.
Hmm when I play my first game of the day I get sixtyish FPS, and I can tell the difference between that and my 120 FPS games, (and in 1v1s I get 150 fps, be jealous)
I guess I just have eagle eyes (yes, that is an intended pun) -

60 fps can dip to 30 fps, which is noticeable, 100 to 70, not noticeable, always better to have higher fps... -
In my opinion, just get a new computer, there is nothing worth upgrading that computer, sadly, it is simply too old. With a Sempron processor, you may not even be running on a DDR2 system, just spend 500$ on a new computer with an OK stats and put like a GTS 450 (newest gen GTS 250) or something for a good all around gaming computer, can play mw2 on decent levels.
Like another poster noted, this game seems to be CPU dependent, my reasons for this thinking
1) I have a GTX 260, I run COD4 at max graphics, everything turned on at 170 FPS, and that number barely/does not shrink it large game rooms in COD4, even in 16v16 promod pubs.
2) CF, 4v4 I get 140 FPS, 8v8 I get around 70-90 FPS, CF graphics are terrible compared to COD4, their basically onpar/worse than CS 1.6.
3) I lowered my resolution (IDK why) and I do not recall a large FPS change ( I lowered it like quite a settings)
My processor is a first gen quad-core (like the first model by Intel), like I said your best bet is to simply get a new computer. Its hard to believe you can even do normal tasks with a computer that is about 2 gens-3 gens.
Having built my own computers and upgraded others, In my honest opinion, do not upgrade your CPU and graphics card. First off, upgrading your CPU is pure dumb, the CPU's that fit your motherboard are already old, they will barely be an upgrade. The motherboard was made for the CPU's back then, not now. GPU's also use alot of Power, a good GPU today may (keyword: may) not be suitable for your Power Supply and it may not work. You just in general need an all around upgrade, a new computer.
