CFDEATH82 i think z8 don`t deserves their vacation after "hard work" ...
Again items for ZP , nothing for players that`s haven`t got zp , again EE map , again wizard hat + 20% of CF players can`t play thanks their patch .... AND THAT`S "HARD WORK"...
qCanonp nic z tym nie zrobisz , pozostaje tylko czekać na patcha , ale jak widzisz - nie jesteś sam

Yes i get the same problem, but mine says, "game client curruption detected, closing game client" over a black screen. I have sent a message to technical support, so if they reply with instructions that work, ill post them here. BTW i have windows xp.

ok for those who got xp 32 bit and install cf with the newest patch and load for nothing it's cuz ur IE8 or IE7 i was on IE7 and got the same problem as all of u (load doesn't appear after HWC run). So uninstall IE doesn't matter your version and reboot ur pc if it's IE5 ur basic one then u could try it otherwise downlaod a ver of IE6 (for those who can't find it just tap on google : [download explorer 6 sp1] or download explorer 6 and it should give u a lots of website to dl it) It work for me i just test it this mornning if u got any question beside the noob one like: how to find it and how to delete it, I'll answer^^
and remember it's for those who HWC load for nothing after it start i'm not sure it's the same case for the 64 bit u could try it but like I said I got the 32 bit one so i'm not sure about yours and for those who got the weird error that have text can't help you

i have maybe found a solution:
3. Codefield 02-0300-00000000-211
This error is likely to occur in the presence of virtual devices installed on the system, like:
*Daemon Tools
*Alcohol 120% /52%
*Virtual Clonedrive
*Other ...
Solution: Disable or turn off any CD/DVD burning software / virtual drives / emulator software -

Uninstalling and Reinstalling the Game
The second most important thing to try with regards to loading errors in Cross Fire is to uninstall the game and reinstall from a new mirror.
To do this follow these steps:
- Control Panel -> Z8Games -> CrossFire -> Uninstall CrossFire
- Open Up My Computer
- Delete the CF directory (Program Files/Z8Games/CrossFire/)
- Delete the CF directory (<user>/Document/CrossFire/)
- Disable your anti virus
- Download the newest client from our downloads site
- Install the game from the new download
- Add the entire crossfire folder to your antivirus exceptions
- Re-enable realtime protection
Cross Fire does not contain viruses, however some anti virus scanners will modify game files as you install them. Make sure to disable your Anti-Virus during download and installation. You can add the folders to the exceptions later to re-enable your virus scanner.
As a secondary solution try changing the installation path directory. -
Crossfire didn't work propely for me.
Now it's working and i am not sure what have i done ;]
Try to uninstall ie8
Add Crossfire in anti virus to trusted files <not only crossfire.exe but whole folder>
Download game booster and defrag the game.
Download ccleaner and clean youre disk. -

Yeah right i can't even find a proper version of IE6 which won't tell me my pc needs to be rebooted before proceeding to the installation even though i did reboot my pc..
Like will i get errors if i try installing IE6 when i still have IE7 cuz It was fckin long to reinstall IE 7 and i wana avoid resintalling it again when i know it wont work -

Internet Explorer delete NO help
Well I still had the 64 bit problem where the game just won't start. The first game page comes up to "start" the game. Xtrap seems to then load fine. Then after the 2 xtrap messages go away, nothing happens. No game. I can look on task manager and the HGDW or whatever it is shows up as running but no Crossfire.
I deleted all Internet Explorers, Shut off Avast, Spybot search and destroy, Adaware and Spywareblaster. Deleted Crossfire and Xfire and all their folders. Ran cleaner to delete what traces in the registry it found. Ran 2 other registry cleaner type programs to get rid of invalid registry entries. Redownloaded Crossfire client file. Set it up again in a totally renamed folder, as well as Xfire.
Same thing, nothing.
After the last patch Crossfire just started working again out of the blue after a week or so. This time nothing. Nothing on the 64 bit. Nothing.
32 bit still works. 64 bit - well nothing.
