Joining Mid-Clan Match

I've managed to join a clan match mid game before, but that was by accident.
Does anyone know exactly how to join mid-clanmatch, as in the half time(or make this possible)? Is there a way, am I doing something wrong?
As I always get the room is in use error

If you get lucky, you are on the server list RIGHT when the half ends, and you are able to join.

Another way is logging in after the half is over and joining before the second half starts.

I have tried that, i've spammed join since before the round ends and also till they start. Didn't work.

Surely someone must know the exact way?

No... Once i was in a 5 on 5 cm and 3 of them rqed and 3 other ppl came in the second half

I believe that if none of your clan members press ok (they stay on the scores screen for a while) you are able to join. Atleast we used to do that when someone crashed and it worked most of the times. It could just be a coincidence, not really sure.

I was in a 5v5 clan match with a clan called white house ( I think). After the first half, they added 3 more players and it was a 8v5.....

don't play in clan server to start off with.
