Lan parties on Crossfire ?

Ok, so I was thinking that would be very cool to have a LAN system on CF, to mae LAN parties with my team etc...
Is there a way to do LAN parties actually ? Or do SmileGate have to change something in the game ?

LAN parties just need to host the server on one of your computers instead of connecting to the official server. So they need to create a full new version since the official server application contains all game modifiers and GM functions, quite unusable for a normal player.
For now the only way to play with friends is just to connect on the same room... Set a password and you're done.

Nope, just make a pwed room and chill together, not sure if it would work but you could probably run a hamachi to have an equal ping. (don't quote me on the hamachi thing but you can test it if you want.)
