It's not so much the LAG that comes from the BRs that bothers me. If i could kick/go play without them. In general, the metagame that BR's and QC's enjoy and promote is not one i want to play. However, i realized the other day after i left several possible SND rooms - it's just not worth the time when i'am spending more time trying to find someone to play with then playing. You can't kick them, you can't go anywhere else because there EVERYWHERE (Even on the frickin UK servers!), and playing a decent SND match is neigh impossible now in pubs.
(And before anyone crys wolf, turkish, qc's, .de and .ro and also .us and .cn and every other group in between has it's bad apples.) -

Not true for the majority. I have a good friend whos Brazilian and he doesnt hack. We know that not all BR's hack but you have to see where we're coming from. Its our game being overtaken but children who cant speak english and kicking us from our games...

Its a lack of respect for other players and it kind of represents your country whether you realise it or not.

My first post was just to say why I can not play on South American Server.
and then some guys star to call me: hack, moron.
anyway I do not have to prove anything here besides i cant . if you ever have the chance to play against me, you'll see that everything I said here is true.
It's even more frustrating for me. but all I can do is to play honestly and try not to offend anyone. -
No, I know it's not all BR's I also know it's not only BR's. It would be ignorant to think that's the case. Again, it's just a generalization that is, sad to say, predominantly true (at least where I'm playing, in other places it might be the EastEuro's or the Turks). I get harassed by the Eastern Europeans playing on NA also. I also know, of course, not all BR's are going to be bad seeds.
It's just kind of annoying when a lot of people try to make points and get their threads shut down just for generalizing the problem and saying "BR" rather than saying children, foreigners, high pingers or whatever else comes to your mind.
There is a problem by whatever name you want to call it.When BRs are kicking you, its EXTREMELY HARD to convince to them that you're not hacking... simply because THEY DONT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH...

Not all BRs hakk, and not all BRs are noobs. One thing is true: BRs dont kick me very much, I get more kiked by other people (polish, russian, americans...)
Oh, and about the BRs speaking on portuguese... Whats wrong with this ? Actually I see many people speaking in russian, japanese, spanish... What is wrong in speak by the person's language ?
And we have a lot of SA's on the South Server. But I think they should rename the South Server to Brazilian Server, because BRs lag less there. Example:
BR with 200 ping on Alpha = -120 on S.S
Its a high ping, but its better to play on S.S. Just see the two sides, the cool BRs and the bad ones. Yes, we have cool BRs. Community, you need to be less racist. -

The naming convention is fine, although my original suggestion was to just call it a BR server even though it's not in Brazil.
How is it a racist community when almost everyone agrees with you? Generalizing the situation is not racism. L2understand basic concepts.
I see people speaking German a lot. Aside from Spanish/Portugese that's about it. The problem is that it's against the rules to speak anything other than English, this is an English speaking game and it's annoying when they do it, no matter who it is.
It is better not only for them to play there but for everyone else that has to deal with them when they don't. -

Man, I say racist because the community kick BRs all time, they say bad names too. Ok, BRs do it. But there are null words(Ex.: porra (means "Wow"), Caralho (Wow), Merda (Sh.it), and others )
And well, about the english thing, I think we can speak any language here.
But when talking to other we need to use english, as it is an universal language. I agree with you, is very annoying to talk with someone that speaks other UNKNOWN language.
I mean unknown as the language we can't understand (Ex.: I can't understand French or German, those are unknown to me. But I can speak portuguese, spanish and english. I know these).

Changing the subject... I have an idea to the peace between people on CF. I have tested it yesterday. When someone make an error, don't rage. Say things like: "Nice try", or "Almost man, but well done". Just by saying this you can evade a big flame war, and the other guy certainly will respect you. In case of BR, try to say these: "Boa tentativa, foi quase" or "Continua assim, tá indo bem". These means: "Nice try, almost" and "Very nice, you are doing very well".
Using these simple words, you can have peace and avoid problems. Do it, I tested it early, and it works. -

people blam the ones who aren't strong enough, just to feel stronger, just to fill their egos, imagine if it was happening to you guys, empathy is a good word with a good meaning, that's what the humanity needs...
About the language, how many vietnamese and chinese people do you see saying things like
"i₤i₤i₤i₤i₤i₤i₤i₤i₤i₤i₤i₤"? (that's their laugh, i think O.o)
why can't the others do that?
if one person is allowed to break the rules, the others shall be allowed too, so it's on or a hundred to take care of these situations. -
