Interesting debate?

Can you remember when was your last REALLY interesting and smart debate on these forums? I'm having one at this exact moment. And I'm finding that there is less and less people able to maintain a good intellectual discution NOT involving the words "F*ck your mom" or " You're fat".

What do you think about it people? Is the community going bad ATM?

On these forums? Ages ago with you.

I'm sure there's a lot of intelligent people here, but most come for fun. Which is understandable really; Life is already serious enough, no need to be serious online all the time. But flexing your brain muscle is fun every now and then...

Nothing to be afraid of, kids will be kids. And that's a good thing... being ridiculously serious at 14 isn't a positive; it makes you feel completely isolated or alone, and shortens your childhood significantly. And you know, you only get one of those

Which is one of the many reasons I don't tend to hang around here anymore.

And as far as having an intelligent discussion not involving ego or raging, yeah, gets old when no one listens to reason.
