Installer Freezing

I downloaded crossfire today because i wanted something else to play than combat arms -.-.. Yeah soo Everytime i click the installer MY COMPUTER FREEZES... Then i have to restart my computer... I reinstalled it 3 Times and still the same anyone got any solutions please share it and also there is another file that came with the downloads i don't know if anyone else gets the other one.. Its in notepad 0.0 But heres a picture of both the INSTALLER and the Other file 0.0

So Yeah please please GM, Anyone please get me to fix this i really want it to work!! My computer is Windows Xp Proffesional | Service pack 3 | 3.00GHZ 1GB Ram <- Crappy
