What Does Zoom Sense Do?

I cant get my head around what the zoom sense is
does it help while quick scoping etc?

wh ile ure in scope, it makes the sens higher/lower

some like it high and some like it low

for QS'ers, it doesnt matter, i use 0 sometimes
