I just joined, donno if this the correct section to post this kind of stuff. I am apologizing now.
I already tried reading stickies and guides and such. Most of them, apparently (based on comments) suck. And stickies seem to be under development...
If I am wrong let me know, I am totally open to corrections in every way.
I just want to know what every newbie needs to know... Here I point em out:
(I would appreciate redirection to a guide or something, I just couldn't find them)
-Classes
They have any differences aside from sprites? Those in the "insertcurrencynamehere" store are better than anything I can get in the "insertingamecurrencynamehere" shop?
-Weapons
I want a rifle. Accurate and fast, most of everything, reliable. For any or most of situations. Don't need an ezmode rifle, I can control recoil, bloom,slow reloading times,etc...
I am going for heads.
Snipers aint a bad idea? does the stock suffices?
-Strategies (how to get chash, what to play for farm money,etc)

I have experience in online FPS, humbleness aside, way more complicated than this one.

No differences, snipers are easy to use on here,
M4 or AK are the best overall guns if your competitive,
Using your m16 until it's broken saves the money you would normally used to repair it.
When you reach certain ranks you get money, badges which are achievements of sorts also provide you with money.

Welcome to Crossfire, first of all before start owning noobs, you must get used to some hackers first :P.
Well about guns... As bibl3black said.. Use ur m-16 and get used to it till it breaks, so you will save lots of money(coz u wont repair it :P)
Also as you say.. You can control recoil.. realoading etc.. so get an AK-47, One hit kill HS on every distance and 3 shot kill on the chest Short -Mid distance, maybe lon can take 4.
As for rifles, the most used is AWM, if ur good aiming to the head u can pwn with ur regular m700 but if you want one with lots of accuracy, AWM is for u, and dont forget to buy a Handgun for close combat while sniping (i suggest Desert Eagle) but try to get the AK first and save for the Rifle and the desert later.
Well for GP farming you can use ur broken M-16 and play with it (and try to kill) and u ll get some Extra GP form this :P

I would say you firstly buy m4 when u can, then keep practicing until you can headshot from a good distance. WHen you are unable to join the rookie servers (that is wen u are triple stripe rank) then make a new account and own the noobs in rookie server.

Welcome. There should be stickied guides that handle all of these.
But as far as the weapons go, you can't go wrong with an M4a1.
You could wait until Thursday (the next patch) to see if the Halloween edition is temporary, then rent it there, before buying.
If you want to snipe, use the M700. It's highly underrated. -

Welcome!
I'd go for the M4A1 or AK-47 for rifle and the AWM for sniping.
As some mentioned break your M16 and M700 (if you plan on sniping I'd buy the AWM). You can earn money by doing the daily mission (500 GP pr. day) and get the badges (You'll stop earning GP when you get the 3rd elite badge)
I hope this gave you an insight into how to earn GP. -
....So far disappointed. I have joined 5 games now, I wasnt doing bad at all,(14/14,10/13...etc) but there isnt a single room where I havent found a guy who moves incredibly fast and sprays at me. Its this result of hack? Or 400 ping has something to do?
Got to touch a AK, doesn't look bad.. M16...I dont like it lol, the reticule recovers kinda slow for me, cant expect more from a stock weapon though.
Btw: I dont know if there is one but there isnt, this game should have a better way to tell your shots are hitting instead of that insta flinch people do. :l
Some servers are full of laggers? Can someone list the decent ones?

Don't EVER play in Delta 9. It is lagger heaven.
Play on the rookie server as much as possible. Then go play in alpha or charlie. Wait till you can get around a 2.0 kdr (you kill 2 people on average before you die) and then you can say your getting good scores. -

The M16's a *poke* cover *poke* profit kind of weapon. You try practicing with it, in MM or something, and you find it's awesome
The game's going through a rough point right now, alot of nooblet hack users, but on the plus side, more people than ever are complaining that they've been banned. So it shows the new hack detection tools are working. -

Ok, I'm sooo bored so i'll help you out in game if you like. Take you in a 1v1 you can do what you like, yeh yeh. Then we can play some games together etc. I'll tell you whats good and bad and yeh, it's all good.

Classes- They are just character models, all the same, you can buy body armor (regarded as nub) with ZP (the real life money translated to in game money or you can get doing time on surveys). There are 2 girl models which are noticeably skinnier than the men models, hitboxes are the same, but it screws with your head (especially if you like to snipe, it makes me really jerkier than usual)
Weapons- M4 has not much recoil, it can spray, its basically m4 from CS
AK is AK of CS also
AWM = AWP of CS, it is incredibly good...
Farming to make money, umm I don't think this works too well, as you have to repair your weapon as it takes a toll each game you play, but I believe people farm for badges which some badge ranks translate into GP (unreallife money) and EXP so when you rank up (one entire rank, not a small bar) you get some more GP. To farm, I guess just do TDM or Escape Mode and play Egypt and rush them with a good sub machine gun like a mp5 advanced. -
Know what? *** this sht. This game sucks, for serious. There is basically no skill involved, its all about point (optional) and hold down the mouse button. Cuz weps dont have bloom or recoil enough to make spray a bad idea. Rooms filled with Scar's or m12's (seems to be the easiest noob cannon ever created) and ppl who cry "HAKER HAKER CHITER KIK" If you tap their heads from a distance.
This game made such a good success getting so many *******s to play it. Mostly beaners who cry to the slightest amount of skill displayed and BRs who lag the hell of the game. Kudos to you Z8. Got a mine of gold, a ******ed as a sheep,easy to farm on, mine of gold.
Just realized, this game is originally chinese? Cheap,crappy and lots of it merchandise strategy.
If you ever see me in game its my little bro (8 year) who apparently likes this crap. Easy as coloring, huh?
Advices for this crap to get to srs bssns;
-Make weapons bloom faster/have more recoil: So there is actaually the need of a intelligent being playing instead of a trained monkey.
(Idk if this company owns the rights of the game, in case no, you all who want to play seriously are pretty much ***ed. nab spray and pray all the way)
-Make weapon repairs cheaper: The ingame currency gain IS RIDICULOUS LOW. Make atleast repairs 30% more cheap so you actually GAIN something from every game. (Maybe the way they force us to buy ZP?)
-Kicking system; Why the heck the opposing team has a vote on it? idgi
-IP ban in some servers: Less lag. self explanatory.
-SMGs do the same dmg at any range? I wont do a test, in case they do. Its stupid.
