Re-Skinning Maps
Recently, I have been thinking about how awesome it would be to re-skin a map.
If the devs can re-skin guns, why not an entire map?
An example would be for Halloween, re-skin Black Widow so the sky is dark and sh*t, with a full moon, and some lights and pumpkins here and there.
Or for Christmas, re-skin Eagle Eyes or Black Widow covered in snow, and instead of that train at bomb site A in Black Widow, it'll be Santa Claus and his sley.
Why? Because this is a game and games are meant for fun, so we should have maps that are fun instead of all GANKSTA PROLAR LEET maps like de_dust2.
Yes we get the seasonal Halloween and Christmas maps, but those maps get boring and they're both just re-skins of one another. If they can re-skin that map, why not others?

On a side note, please bring de_dust2. Yes, I am a hypocrite.

The idea is pretty cool, but they won't bring any new maps out like this for Xmas/Halloween. They'll say "Well you get Eagle Eye-Xmas be happy with what you got". Similar to the weapons I'd rather have new weapons/maps instead of reskins of maps that everyone remembers by heart. -

Editing one texture for a gun is easier then editing the entire maps textures.. you may aswell be making a new map

Yeah its easier to re-skin a gun because its small and you just have to re-skin some animations and that but a new map its obviously a bigger project..
