My fps is around 300 - 400 on average so here are my tips:
-Turn off anything you dont need, (I run gameboster than I remove it by alt ctrl being as it takes 400kb of ram, that you can possibly use.)
-Get a better laptop/desktop (if you got a laptop than you cant just get a graphics card, so get a new one, you can often trade it in for a better one with 100$ with you. I got a voodoo laptop so its the best XD)
-Get a ether a internet cord, my fps jumps 50 when I connect it. -

1. Get rid of useless junks in your computer (definately get rid of viruses/ spywares/ malwares)
2. Make sure Crossfire is the only program running.
3. another option is to buy a better router.
Router? Isn't a router for internet/ping? I don't think that has anything to do with FPS.
Anyways, I have Vista, and my FPS fails due to the OS. I get about 70 FPS if I'm in a knifing 1v1. 8v8 with noobs throwing smokes everywhere? I get like 15. Fail. I used CCleaner, GB2, cleaned registry, CF's the only program running and even did some driver partitioning. I'm planning on just getting a new graphics card since this is starting to fail completely. Unless someone has a magic idea that could give me a solid 100 FPS no matter what. -

Get a new CPU, not a Graphics Card. (CF depends more on the CPU than the Graphics card) -
> Right Click My Computer
> Click on Properties
> Click Advcanced Tab
> Click Performance Settings
> Tick Adjust for Best Performance
Makes it look ugly but sometimes increases FPS a lot.
Only works/well for XP and Vista.
Did that.
