It does full damage through boxes.

I tend to rage on people who kill me through boxes with it.

Of course its great fun to hop up and down behind a box and when someone comes around the corner spraying at you with an M4 and doing 8 damage you get to pop them in the face for 100 through the box.

The wallbang damage is bugged, it's not supposed to do 100%.
It has an atribute that provides great advantage if used properly that is not supposed to be there. So yes, it IS overpowered. Hence being banned from most competitive leagues.

The rage after being killed with it in pubs/beta scrims is unnecessary tho.

Anyways, yeah, IMO it's overpowered, because of the wall damage. It's annoying when you hide behind a box and your opponent with XM8 sees you, and then immediately he starts to spray it, thinking "You're dead, this takes 100HP hehehe".

I don't rage at people who shoot me through a box with it. But it does get quite annoying that I can't take cover behind a solid object that SHOULD provide some protection, haha. I'd be fine with it in a competitive setting if the wall bang was reduced.

Fastest reload out of all rifles, medium to high damage, one of the lightest rifles in the game, decent RoF oh and 100% box damage. Yeah pretty good, the only rifles comparable would be things like silenced M4's, golden AK and Scar L (I suppose K2 as well).

I use the XM8 when pubbing to avoid kids kicking me for having gold ak+deagle and not giving them. What you put in quotation marks is pretty much what I think when mowing down pubbers :P

Two , you were spraying with an xm8, whilst using the spop and trying to trash talk me - not very impressive.

Also,I said send us a challenge on ESL , or play us in a wogl practise scrim and you said , ''no, tournies are for try hards''. I'm like..wdf is this idiot on about. Trying his merry heart out in pubs,and saying that tournaments are for try hards?

And xm8 is extremely op.

Not as OP as the scar...but its there. If they make the wallbang damage lower...it will be as awesome and balanced as an M4.

I always thought it was the most OP gun in the game. Before WOGL or anything like that happened. Thought it was worst, though Scar L was second worst, so I stuck with the m4. Tournament rules have already proved me right.

first of the bad kid was indeed directed to you after you QQ'd about me using the XM8. Get the F over it im not spraying with it seriously. when you get one pop'd by the XM8 just like the rest of your team.

i denied ESL or whatever tournament style in the game because i think it is ruining the community, all this QQ about the wolg rules crap and all the sh¡t around it is ruining this game IMO.
