There are technical limitations going on right now that are preventing those functions from easily being implemented in the game.

Remember that replays ARE NOT VIDEOS. They are game data files that are created as the game plays.

The files are more about who is in what position, what trajectory are they going, which direction they are firing in etc etc.

It would be more likely to see some of the more common problems with replays like missing sounds, better shot recognition etc. going in than fast forward or rewind at this point in time.

It should be noted however that this particular request is never forgotten or ignored when working with the developers on future content.
