Game Updates

Tonight is patch night! So we all know what that means. The servers (and this time the website too) will be down for a while tonight. The website will be down for about an hour or so at Midnight. The game servers will be down for 3-4 hours to update the game!

It's Halloween time and we've released the information on the items in the patch (don't worry your favorite UW editor just had a little bit of the crazies when he thought we hadn't released that info!). Some of you don't know where the items will be. But you can catch a hint here and there.

We'll be including the full patch notes later tonight when the website comes back up. We'll have some new information on some server changes and some anti-hacking measures to give out at that time.

Don't forget to keep checking our social media like Facebook, Twitter and Xfire for the latest information on server status and the game updates!


Competitive Updates

The calm before the storm is the best description we have for the competitive community. Our two esteemed clans, LPK and vVv Lifeline are heading off to WEM. We will be updating our site with plenty of news from WEM. We'll have bio's brackets and interviews as well as trip blogs and photo's from the event!

We're hoping that LPK and LifeLine can bring back the gold for Cross Fire NA/UK!!

The OVOL (One vs One League) is underway. Make sure to check in with your contacts to pair up!

WOGL-O and EU are now into season one. Get in on some of the prediction threads. Also, there is an interesting discussion about boosting in WOGL leagues. While the rules have been set for this season, get in the discussion and have your input. WOGL Rules are always open to change between seasons as long as they consider them an improvement! So don't be shy, and keep the intelligence level high!


Community Happenings

Starting our Halloween Ghastly trip is a thread started by our very own [MOD]Rex looking for your favorite ghost story. Add yours before Halloween is over!

Not wanting to leave the Halloween theme, we've got more scary discussions including one on the new AK47-Halloween. Which Gun do you want the most?

There's always lots of things happening in our Fan Works section. If you think you have the skills to make an awesome CF video don't hesitate. [MOD]BlindRob posted an excellent guide to making kick-ass videos. If you haven't seen BlindRobs, make sure to check them out! And if you're looking to enter into future video contests on the Z8 site, his guide is a good place to start!

Farming tends to come up in discussion a lot. There is a decent statement by us that is worth reading. And be careful making threads about farming or requesting farming on the forums. They tend to create a lot of negativity and are generally not tolerated!

Events and Promotions

It's Halloween at Z8Games and we're celebrating in style! You only have a couple more days to submit your entry for your Cross Fire inspired pumpkin carving.

We're patching tonight and this weekend we're going to be running a few promotions with a Spooky twist. If you want to get the chance to use the M4A1 Custom Crystal you had better tune in!
